See above ahhhhI averaged 20.8 MPH on my own the other day, so with others and in race mode you should be able to better that. I was shot at the end though!

If the course was much longer than that you'd have definitely troubled me - I could see you gaining but had very little left to respond with! How silly of me to think i could stay in front on AAAC, Bill and BridgyStill, kinda fun trying
Andy! great rideEnjoyed that tussle too. Perhaps if we were both strong enough to work together we might have troubled bridgy
Well done all![]()
Slight confession. I forgot to change my weight back to normal. It shouldn't have had agreat deal of difference on a flat course.
Still I frightened Bob and Bill for a whileWhoever admins please disregard my time.
Watch out if I ever get to that weight in real life![]()
I struggled a lot at the start with sore legs but by half way I was feeling much better. I certainly didn't expect to come across the leaders again. Cheers for the drafting Andy. I knew you'd get the hint after flying past me a few times![]()
I don't know if it's me or the course but I found that one of the hardest for a LONG time
Thanks for the bit of drafting Bill & AAAC but I was hanging on by a thread most of the time and just couldn't stay with you at the end
Bridgy, I think Bill has put a virus in the system that is eating Watts.
I was surprised by the quick start today, especially Bob, and once I was out in front I thought I would crack on but my legs were quickly emptying so I decided to share the strain and drop back for you.
As usual you down-hilled better than me so I made my best effort to put a burst in on the climb transitions to get a bit of a sling going and then accept that you would catch me on the next slope down, which you generally did.
Then Bill showed up so I thought why not share the pain three ways however as good a drafting course that it should have been those saw tooth graphics seem to disrupt the draft and visually made it hard to follow, most frustrating when you knackered.
I guess your legs died toward the end as Bill and I left you on the climbs however I was then hanging onto Bill suffering a thousand cuts.
My derriere started playing up halfway through so if either yourself or Bill had of gone by and left me behind I probably would have (and should have) climbed off.
I did have a go at that 2.1 km bonus sprint half an hour before the start so perhaps I left some of my watts on the Hill (well that's my excuse)..
I wasn't going to do the ride tonight, but changed my mind and glad I did. I only managed 50 minutes (which for the fasties would be a whole ride, for me wasn't!) but it was fun riding with @Goldwolfie and @Rob - much stronger riders than me, but I enjoyed it whilst I stayed with them
Was actually 10 mins into the ride when I noticed that 20 seconds ahead GW and Rob seemed to be together. I buried myself to catch them up and managed to stick with them, just about, for the next 40 mins. Although I think they were waiting for me quite a few times as I struggled to keep up.
I was pretty shot when a rider called Scott caught us up. I didn't know how much GW and Rob had left so I used the last of my energy trying to tire him out. I was hoping I could sap some energy so that GW and Rob could then stick with him, but alas i crashed and burned. Sorry guys![]()
