No such glitches in bkool's best league : The Cyclechat Chaingang ^_^

Tonight we have a choice. We could do the same as last week which is the 29.5km Champs Elysees or, because it's so hot we could instead do the Villamuriel 7.1km Sprint (Also a chaingang league).
Any preferences? I'm happy to do either, but if it's the Champs Elysees I'm not sure I'll make it to the end :heat:.
Sorry, won't be there. Doing a real-life race this evening.

I am going to have a go at the handicap stage I missed Tuesday  , then have another pop at Villamuriel . Possibly the other way round  possibly just the handicap stage . It depends on how much  there is laying on the floor after the warm up .

If you are doing one of the longer sessions I will not be taking part as I have gone about as fast as I can on them. With the current temps I'd b losing minutes if not 10's of minutes on them :stop:.

Don't forget to logout of Bsim and change the weight for the handicap

Good point.

I feel like the wicked witch of the west .

That was probably the worst hour I've spent on bkool. I doubt it is the hardest hour :headshake:. With the current temperatures I've never felt this :boxing::B):boxing::B):boxing:.

Now time to relax and chill with a cold non-al drink because I'm on call :cursing::cursing:

Sorry guys, strange work hours means I'm missing team rides :banghead:Hoping to do summer league ride 7 tomorrow evening. Probably aim for a 5.45 start if anyone wants to join :hugs: I reckon i can knock 20 mins off my current time (having been given the slowest riders time currently) - that should put me in the top 100 I hope :wahhey:

Wow That was tough. Not sure which of the two was worse.
Some finish AAAC!! I thought it was a tie but it seems you beat me by .2 of a second. Also thanks for waiting while I had my dead stop.
By the second race I was a lost cause and nothing was going to tempt me to sit on anyone's wheel. No fuel left in the tank because of the heat so it was a challenge just to finish.

Had problems with my internet connection, so missed the start of the Chain Gang race. It was a toughie and a bit lonely. I was certainly warmed up for the trundle up Rundlestone and thanks to AAAC for the tow part way up the second part of the climb, before he took off to chase Rob down. Looks like my ride has gone AWOL in Bkool - I'm sure I saved it but I suppose I might have hit the wrong key as I was pretty knackered.

Got to about 2.5 miles, where it goes flat-ish, then just went bang. I couldn't generate power at all. Once it started going uphill again I got some traction but I was gone by then :heat:.

Yep, I thought you pipped me as well, 146 rpm spinning like nobodies business.
Perhaps the time is taken from when you start rolling and I was slower off of the mark than you?
