By the way did you pipe 'ditching gash over the aft bow' for safety reasons?

A little confusing at first with me not having spent years or months at sea but google helped out in the end.
Had there been anyone around I think I'd have wanted to keep it as low key as possible, so probably wouldn't have piped anything. More than likely I'd have put even more effort into trying to escape the feeding frenzy, while remaining as silent as possible.

FYI, when at Flying Stations the 'ditching of gash' is not permitted.
Neither is it permitted within costal waters,
I must admit I wouldn't want to be doing an open water swim behind a fleet ditching gash, not pleasant or healthy.
Watching an island of floating rubbish disappear in your wake did often make me wonder where it all went.
I have no doubt though that anything edible was eaten (as you noted), anything adsorbent sunk and perhaps eventually dissolved but as for the rest, who knows. The only really green thing about it was that it was ditched in paper bags.

Bit like my old body building days when your spotter gets you to push out one more rep :training: .

I never dared pushing any opo to make that final rep because I was never big enough to help them get the bar back on the hooks. Always been bicycle build!
As a result I didn't get too many invites to the gym unless a third party was going as well.

AAAC. where in the Caribbean? I am with the Mrs in Florida Keys. I'll wave in your direction :hello:

@Whorty. You can see the latter intervals are becoming peaky, still developing the power but in less duration.

Yes, I was struggling to hold the power for long but was pushing for a max power. Bit of an ego boost to hut 600 watts if only for a couple of seconds compared to holding 450 for longer

Legs hurt this morning so whilst a short session it was hard!

Whorty, I always found important to get protein into me quickly after a TR or Sufferfest HIT session so would have chocolate milk immediately after and while I cooled down. I don't think the impact is illusory either. For me at least it really did and does seem to impact on muscle soreness and recovery.
Well done on the sustained 400w plus and the 600w too:okay:

Really?! Well I did spin pretty fast to try and get the speed up on the downhill a couple of times, but I didn't realise it was that fast! It wouldn't have been for long!

bridgy, were you previously a hamster??^_^

I am not riding tonight-visiting an open evening at a secondary school for my youngest. I may get back in time to catch then end.
I did put a stint in on zwift last night though it lost some of it. What a difference a day makes (and my fastest ever sprint time too) (puffs chest out with pride )

Is it the chubby cheeks?

I can't see your pictures (might just be me though), but well done for whatever they show! :highfive:

Looks like half an hour of pan-flat pain is awaiting us tonight. The time Andy set before going on holiday - 27.45 @ 338 watts - looks pretty good.....
