Well rode Jim, I was 2 mins down on my original time so I reckon that would put you around 2 mins in front. Unlucky Randy, just as a caught up around the halfway point, we could have pushed each other for the 2nd half

That was my plan. To try to draft you to catch up. Jim just took off and I had no chance at the first hill. I am still not able to reach BKOOL.

You can't use that as a test Randy. They probably block ping (ICMP) requests in their firewall. I'm pretty sure the simulator does not run on the same servers (or network) as the website. BSIM used AWS 2 years ago when I last checked.

You're right. I hadn't thought of that. I did a trace route and it got to the UK then timed out.
I just checked my subscription and it's good. The same thing happened yesterday and I blamed it on our high winds and a power bump but now better do another test ride later.
