Thought you would have made lots of ground up in the 2nd half of the race.
@microkid must have had helium in his tyres for the climbs! I just couldn't keep any speed on the downhill compared to everyone else

Me? Helium? Climbs? Man, this almost killed me ... again. I really hate the short decents and climbs.... My heart rate went through the roof...

Nope. Wasn't going to happen tonight. I'm feeling quite rough. Probably shouldn't have raced tonight, but bike was calling. I did see the stage earlier and thought downhill loose time then hopefully try and claw some back in the latter stages. Didn't happen.
Per, Brusgaard and I were a decent trio for a while then I started to loose ground and they just pulled away.
Anyone thought drafting was improving?

Think that's just on the Beta, we are still using the current sim

Max power 889 watts! That's some going and average of 300. I struggle with 260

That nearly killed me too. But yes, I felt the drafting working better but maybe I just imagined it. Heart rate went through the roof and I collapsed at the end. Even worse than last week's race.

Glad you all enjoyed the route! It's kinda fun to just read about it after the event and imagine what was going on. See you all Saturday for the rerun and yes I pretty sure the drafting changes are only in the beta.

Yes sounds like we all suffered. I stopped pedaling and put my forehead on the stem shut my eyes and nearly fell asleep.

Was just on strava and looking at some pictures folk have put on. My lad has a couple of Logitech mice and is into his gaming. Bit of a tech geek so asked him what he reckons theo mouse is.

There is a little bit of drafting, but not great. More overshooting than actual drafting.

From tonight? Or previous, mine was bought about 6 years ago I reckon but was top of the range at the time. Still manage to get ultra graphics on bkool!

i tried to stay om him but with 2kms to go he pulled away and i lost a minute. Though it turned out it was a slow ghost of his real ghost as he in fact won by 4 minutes so I guess I tried to stay with an imaginary ghost of his ghost. He really gets into my head now...am I going mad?
