You are correct! The first goats league is finished.

You took first place Ryan. Well done!
A very close 2nd place went to Alan
3rd place to Guy only completing 6 of the 7 stages.

Kudos to the guys who really put in the time to complete or nearly complete all the stages. I know how tough that was for some of you. Keep up the good work and I hope you can muster the same willpower for the next league.

Well done Ryan...im glad you didnt get a second crack at ventoux as that was my only stage win in the end
And im sure Gareth will be kicking himself or his laptop as he only got 5 of the stages done but whooped my ass inquite a fewof the stages.

Guys, whilst I'm waiting for Thursday's ride, I need to get a few traing rides in. Any recommendations? Something with a few hills, about half an hour to an hour...any ideas or fave routes?

The mountain moose league is ready for action. 7 stages. Two rides shared with the last mountain goat league, three randoms I found that looked appropriate and two of my favorite local rides. The local rides are 3d only, the others have video options. The league runs until the end of the year.

Where I know a reasonable time for a moose, I've indicated it.

Again the idea is a league for the folks that are a bit slower. If you found yourself chasing Whorty, Kev, myself or slower during the goat league, then you've found the right group. ☺

I aspire to be a moose if only a very slow one. Can I join the group?

Soarer - had noticed you'd requested to join the chaingang but didnt realise you were on the forum, so just approved your request there now. :welcome:
Enjoy the leagues - hope you can make it Thursdays at 7pm (though you can ride the stages at anytime)

I can see that you've done the rides but unfortunately bkool must have deleted the attempts that must have been waiting approval by admin, as soon as the league ended. It seemed to end a day early but this is a problem we often have with bkool. Its hard to know exactly when something will happen. For example the new league is now set-up and published but we do not know if it will be available to ride tonight or tomorrow sometime.
Unfortunately you put in your rides just before the league closed and there is now no way to get them into the results. It is always my aim to get every ride through the system without having to be approved by admin but still some parameters prevent the ride getting through.
Sorry about that.

OK, nothing to do about it then. Looking forward to next round.

I know I am going to regret it, but I have requested to join this unholy trinity. Overweight, slow and up hill :bicycle::banghead:

Mountain Goats Winter League 2 now live.

Stages picked courtesy of LB and JLaw. 6 stages over the month and I have gone easy on you. No Ventouxes or D'Huezes this time.

Bert, I'd recommend the 100ish Top Climbs league. It's great for a massive selection of rides from a few minutes to an hour or so.

Is anyone doing the chaingang ride (stage 1) tonight. I'm tempted but not sure if I should, my shoulder still aches after my off on Saturday. To go for it or rest some more? The large bruise on my hip and other cuts and bruises aren't bothering me.

Just after doing mountain goat - Telegraphe and then decided I would do the chaingang - Recorrido Por Paris straight afterwards.

Telegraphe was harder than it looks and my legs were burnt even before I started the second one

Im sorry I missed you Alfonzo on the Paris route as the company would have been good!

Sorry I was out walking the dog, I think would've had to miss it anyway, the shoulder is a bit too sore.
