Telegraphe was harder than it looks and my legs were burnt even before I started the second one

Telegraphe is good for getting a high average power. There'll be quite a few moving up a level or two I would think.

2 Goats completed the stage so far and two out on track right now :bravo::bravo:

Just after doing mountain goat - Telegraphe and then decided I would do the chaingang - Recorrido Por Paris straight afterwards.

Im sorry I missed you Alfonzo on the Paris route as the company would have been good!
The paris course totally finished me off after a couple days of fairly hard efforts on thurs/fri.. I'm going out for a CX/gravel ride tomorrow night, hoping I have legs to pedal with

Mountain Goats Winter League 2 now live.

Stages picked courtesy of LB and JLaw. 6 stages over the month and I have gone easy on you. No Ventouxes or D'Huezes this time.
This could be the calm before the storm .

Not sure about going easy, Telegraphe reminded me of D'Heuezes! Lets see how the rest of the stages fare lol

I know what you mean. I hesitated at the start and once I reached 5Km I considered quitting but I just ploughed on with what I had left - which wasn't much

Well Paul, I have put a few thousand miles on my bkool (s) over the past year, so I am a lot stronger than when I started. Just put in a lot of vertical miles and you'll get to where I am fairly quickly.

Stunning time there Bill. 320 watts?? That's going to take some beating! :notworthy:

Thanks Rick. Back in the day that time could have taken a stage win. Hopefully be good enough for a 5th or 6th now .

New tyre feels like its matured nicely for low resistance .
And I was feeling quite fit but perhaps pushed my knees a bit too hard.

I will give it a go tomorrow. Knee much better ( you be careful of yours Bill) and I hope rest has done me some good.

Really impressive to see people pushing themselves but I also think we should be careful not to overtrain, especially those of us who no longer have the rejuvenating powers of youth on our side. I can recommend Zwift if you just want to spin and not worry about Bkool dropping your activity level.
