Not sure how you join the cyclechat strava. I know I ended up in it but can't remember how!

It'll only transfer rides from now on. Well, it didn't upload previous rides of mine when I created the link between the two.
Just request to join via Strava and I'll approve it.

I pretty sure it'll only syncs new rides. Also be aware that if you link Bkool and Strava, your Strava rides will end up on Bkool.

Ok thanks again Rick and thanks Kipster , not sure if I`ll link the 2 sites tho cos as Kipster has replied it will transfer all
my road rides from Strava to BKool as well and I don`t really want my road rides on BKool.
I still may join the cyclenet group on Strava tho Kipster, thanks

Moose riders:

We're sharing a couple rides with the goats. If you want to do City Creek & Little Cottonwood in the Goats league (where you can add ghosts & bots), I'm more than happy to add those times to the Moose league. I believe the procedure would be something like:

1. Do the ride for the Goats league.
2. Do a couple minutes of the ride for the Moose league, then quit & save the session.
3. I can then copy your Goat time into the Moose league ride.

Or you can do both. That's not too rough for City Creek, but for Little Cottonwood it'll be painful.

Tough little ride it is too so you'll probably have few taking you up on that offer J.

Tip: When you make the adjustment just put the difference in seconds in the box. Nothing else. no + or -

For example if they took 30 mins to do the goat ride and put in a dummy ride of 30 seconds then what you need to put in the box is (30 X 60) - 30
so 1770 which is the difference in time in seconds.

Did two of the Moose rides tonight. City Creek Canyon and then Subida Soller. Not one off the best idea's I have had:ohmy:, thought I was going to joining the sick gang!! Should have set a good ghost time for the City Creek ride for the Moose's. It may need validating tho, showing a red cross against lost signal. As mentioned above, think Bkool was playing up, now for a rest!!:reading:
May give you a chase tomorrow night ... it's either this or the chain gang ride. Not sure which yet.

Just had a go at Fleet Moss; it's quite a tough one. Only 11 seconds behind your time Bill so pretty happy with that;) may have to challenge your ghost:bicycle:

I couldn't get into Zwift tonight. I like to use it because I can ride without worrying about my Active rating falling in bkool. Is there a way to ride in bkool, say just a tempo ride and not have it affect your rating?

You can, just make sure you quit @ 29 minutes

Ive done quite a few rides, some well over an hour long and at a much lower intensity than i did the FTP test and havent been down rated.

On a separate note - i need to get the finger out and log a few mountain goat league rides. The aim is to join RickB up near the top of the leaderboard. Unfortunately I cant make the chaingang race tomorrow at 7 but hope to get the Telegraphie climb done in the late afternoon.

Yeah, I vaguely remembered that Kipster. Thanks. Seems a shame that tempo and recovery rides are adversely affected. Zwift it is then.
As Irish al says, you can do many an easy ride as well and it wont downgrade you. My wife uses my account regularly and generates about 150 watts tops - doesnt change anything - was downgraded once for not doing a decent ride in a couple of months or so but the occasional easy ride has no effect.

Hoping to do the chaingang tomorrow night. Was stuck in the middle last week, billy no mates, so the company would be good!!
Spot on Kev. :okay:

Courses are picked so that all abilities can complete them without having to slog for too long. :heat: The more people who join in the races, the more people can enjoy having competition with similar abilities! Getting about a dozen in each race currently and room for many more!

There's nothing better than having a close competitor who you push yourself to the limit to beat. ^_^ Best training there is!

It all looks great fun with some suffering involved, I can't wait to join in. Frustratingly I will have to wait, the injury has not changed so I have to wait till the MRI and what the consultant has to say.

I did the first stage of the Chain Gang league tonight - hopefully I did things right so it will show up in the league at some point!

Can't keep up this full-on racing pace every time though! Need to treat myself to a "normal" ride - after the live race tomorrow night of course!
