Trainer differences are partly why I mainly ride climbs, it also helps with noise in my current paincave(wooden shed w/ raised floor)

Viewing a house next week and hopefully applying so I'll have a proper "indoor" paincave on hard flooring  I've no other use for a living room than bike storage and turbo "area"

I suppose, in some ways, it depends what each person wants out of the sessions. I'm not looking to win (it's a good job really!!!!) but what I am looking at is how I am doing compared to my previous rides, and compared to others whose rides are of a similar speed/time. For me it's all about relatives - not the ones that turn up unexpected at Xmas and you haven't bought them a present, but the relative times compared to my previous rides. But that's just me

Great way to look at it - pointless getting to worked up about as we have no way of truly knowing - I really enjoy the competitiveness of Thursday nights chain gang and just want to get fitter and drop a few pounds.

That is my outlook as well . I set a target on the T100 sessions, a low one possibly, but I thought achievable (no point in setting an impossible goal) :cursing:. Since the firmware update I have had to go back and do the sessions I did before it. So far I have re-done 3 sessions that kicked me out (the ones I really wanted to complete) and 6 sessions where my time was more than twice the session leaders time. I am pleased to say I have now completed all of them and in under the double time. I just have 4 more to re-do and then I'll be back on the list doing new to me sessions. :bicycle:

I'm going to start doing some of the T100 rides too ... some seem short enough that you can do 2 in a session ... is this fair to say?

I did 4 today in about 2 hours . 3 shorter ones that I absolutely buried myself on:blink:. The first one had a full warm up and full warm down and about a 10 minute break between each one. The other sessions just had a short 2 or 3 minute warm up but a full warm down (I needed it). Then one of the medium length ones to finish off . I am spent after that lot. All session were at 103% or more of my max (first was 113%). I also had my highest HR @154  on the third session, to date. Total ride time of about 1:15. :training: :bicycle: :surrender:

Some of the short ones are only 2 minutes for the likes of Guy, Bill, LB etc I take a bit longer

One more time please can someone tell me how to make a league ride jump up the list so it shows up in the Bsim. program? I copied to favorites but after I rode it it didn't show as a league ride. I challenged from the results but it still didn't make the top 15 on the scheduled rides.

Thanks

I tend to challenge someone who has done a league ride. Then I open the system and go to league rides and scan through to the one with ghosts. This process seems to work for me.

If you open a league to see the list of sessions available. Scroll down the list to the one you want. There are 2 ways to select it.

Copy : Which copies the session to your scheduled events. This is the one you want.
To Favorites : Which copies the session to your favorites list. Do this if you want to ride it outside of the league.

Go to your schedule and you should see, in the list, the session you have just chosen, with a cup symbol beside it, with the current days date. On my list it is usually the last one/s with the current date (you also have other league participants scheduled sessions in your list).

Open bsim and go to the leagues tab and you should find your selected session there. Mine comes up as usually the 2nd or 3rd one displayed.

Perfect. That exactly what I needed.
Thanks.

I see Coombe Gibbet was one, it's local to me, only 20 miles to home once I've got to the top. The road surface is rubbish, but the descent the other side is good. Mind you we normally do another hill or two which are very close by.

The joy of VR all roads are perfect :okay:, but you don't get to see where the road goes after . The legs still hurt the same though :surrender:

Coombe Gibbet is 'nice', and is right in the middle of a regular 50+ mile ride for me. What are the other hills nearby that maybe I'm unaware of?
