I also consider myself lucky I got the trophy wife comment in before she has joined the chat....this message however, might get deleted!
Oh god does that mean we are all going to have to start wearing trousers again round here and stop scratching ourselves inappropriately?

Sorry, couldn't resist taking on Bill the farmer today, so I will be joining the Saturday rerun instead.
He's one tough cookie, the american version of AAAC . I managed to stay with him on the flatter parts, but he destroyed me on the last climb before finish.

Adam! You do realise that your two worlds are about to collide??

Have you noticed that Rick doesn't post here so much nor get so much time on his turbo?
^_^
I'll have you know my turbo time has been limited slightly by my attempts at multisporting! Nothing at all to do with Gail being on here - Nope, not at all. I'm my own boss. I wear the trousers round here.

(PS: hurry up and read this til I delete it before Gail logs on :B))

Sorry guys and girls but discretion better part of valour tonight. Anything over 300w producing discomfort in knee. Thought best to be a boy racer and hit the front having burnt myself out and then bail. Of course now I am out I am thinking should have stayed in and just slowed up but then again I know that face of Everest was approaching.
Just so you all know AAAC has already raced this evening!

Booted from bkool 3 times while spectating:angry: keeps saying race had finished yet they had not yet hit the hill. AAAAC a monster. Rick, Bill and Guy perfecting their drafting. Wonder if the bump will split them?

Of course!! ^_^ No way could I stick it on that hill - tried to get a few seconds gap before the hill but just wore myself out at the start of the climb.

Good one, Bill too strong up that hill and Rick, nice tactics...I went to respond and cramped all up my left leg, calf and hamstrings, I could only just get to the finish!
Dont know about tactics Guy. Just that last wee downhill gave me a chance to build momentum one more time and I gave it everything - couldnt believe that I actually got past you!! That was an awesome race. :hugs:

Special mention to the drafting team!! Worked a treat!!! :bicycle::bicycle::bicycle::bicycle:

Kipster what happened? Was loving that, we drafted our way to Bridgy and then you cut loose? Bridgy, you mullered me on that hill. Tried a few breaks, but couldn't shake you, and then you destroyed me! Great race though guys. Nasty hill at the end. That was the stiffest my turbo has ever gone by miles!

I could see by the times that you and kipster were drafting together and I wasn't pulling away so I eased up a bit to join in the fun! I thought the three of us were working well together - shame kipster dropped back. And no one was more surprised I pulled away from you on that hill Adam! To be fair you did do a pretty big hill yesterday that I pu$$ied out of!!
