Kipster what happened? Was loving that, we drafted our way to Bridgy and then you cut loose? Bridgy, you mullered me on that hill. Tried a few breaks, but couldn't shake you, and then you destroyed me! Great race though guys. Nasty hill at the end. That was the stiffest my turbo has ever gone by miles!

Something up with the bike, wasn't right in the warmup, after we caught Bridgy I started getting loads of sideways movement in the cranks, looks like bottom bracket is shot.

That totally sucks, I was really enjoying that drafting we were doing, although it was just above my pay grade really, I was out of the saddle every few minutes to keep up.

@Soarerv8 - did you get kicked out just before the finish. Its coming up you didnt complete the course but you must have been pretty close to the end....
Literally as Adam described I ran out to the garage at 7:09 pulling on shorts and shoes so by the time I logged in you we're all a couple of minutes up the road. Think I might in my panic have clicked on join last place person. My bad I think.

I think I nearly perfected the rear braking whilst drafting with AAAC. His draft kept sucking me in like he was a jet engine (which would certainly explain a lot). So I just applied a quick stab of the rear brake to fall back again, whereas I used to just reduce pedal pressure. Considering how fast we were going I was surprised to see us not really dropping the guys behind. Then I thought to myself that if I dropped back to the second group I'd get a nice rest for a few minutes and hopefully be more fresh than them for the hill

I think we did pretty good with the drafting, a nice course to try it on. I was thinking about trying to pull away on the flat as I knew you would be strong on the hill, but decided to stick with the drafting.

I'll strip the bb down tomorrow and see if I can tighten some of the slack out of it, hopefully enough for the club run at the weekend, else I'll be out on the summer bike. Mind you the sun looks like it'll be out so all good.
