...... is a flying start. So only Bill, Monte and Rick should stop pedaling. The rest of us should keep pedaling.
:bicycle: Really, so we dont have to stop for the countdown? Is this true for all stages now? be good if it was cause when joining in with someone else 'live' ride, you never know when they will stop warming up and start the countdown - then I can never get stopped quick enough!
It has a few laps then a sprint lap and the last rider in the sprint lap is out. Then a 2 minute rest then another round. It will last until the last rider is left. So for me it may just be three laps but for the fast dudes it could be ?
Should we have a couple of sessions of it so that we can all have a few more laps. plus second time round, those who did best will hopefully be tired! :pump:

Evening , well i ordered a BKOOL PRO from Leasure Lakes as it was the cheapest i could find on the net at £429 it was delivered three days late and damaged the housing was all cracked and the box was open , to top it all it was a BKOOL Sport not a model i had heard of but had a cadence sensor but not in the box ;-( i have now returned it and im told have a pro being delivered in the next 24 hours i just want to try it out so i can see if its as good as the reviews ..
They do have a tendency to mess up orders and customer service is dodgy but improving.
You'll be glad you bought it though. Software is always getting better and the competitive element is unbeatable - I almost prefer doing the online sessions to real cycling now! :shy:

Get yourself a USB extension lead for starters and put the ANT+ dongle as close to the Bkool unit as possible - makes the connection much more stable.
Any questions when you're up and running, just ask away.

I need a favour - for whatever reason I seem to struggle with searching for stages on the BKOOL website (must be doing something wrong).

Can someone find the Cheddar Gorge route, it has a video if that helps and ride the course so I can challenge it and then save it.

Thanks

The original Chain Gang Gorge has no video:

The only video-Gorge I could find is this one:

I don't think the other sessions are flying starts. I tried the summer cup ride I'm missing and it was the same. And for a second round, It depends on how many of us are in the first. I have a ferry to catch at noon. I am going for a week in the Yukon as my wife's unpaid camera assistant.

Tomorrow at 7 pm UK time/ 10 am alaska time I'll start a "Miss and Out" session. It has a full 10 minute warm up and is a flying start. So only Bill, Monte and Rick should stop pedaling. The rest of us should keep pedaling.

Unfortunately I can't make this evening - had to train early due to family visitors (I know which one I would prefer doing). have a good one.

Didn't see him coming. Hadn't a big enough gear! Just too strong for me. Can't sustain that sort of output. Spinning out and still wasn't catching him. Heart is jumping out of my chest - lungs and legs are on fire!!! One word: brutal!!!!
