C'mon, give me some slack.... I have been complaining and suffering the vortex on the previous rides because of the slow and unrealistic downhill speeds. This stage is just perfect for that. I assure you, the 11% climb was painful enough and pumping just a little above 200w I don't think that vortex gives me much advantage on the climbs
No worries man. Looks like you're going to be a tough man to beat on the hills! :heat:

Was going to ask if people fancied having some ghosts on for this one. I made use of one on my initial run!. Any objections to having some?

Just to add to the competitiveness. The final climb registers on strava for aa virtual KOM. Alan just robbed me of it tonight!

I saw you were first on Monday night ( You are now third). I came in at fourth then checked yesterday and was down to eighth. As the mountain goat league wasn't live last night when I got home I had another go and moved up to sixth. By the end of the month I expect to be down into double figures

Probably because of Bkools quirky search function, or because Bill noticed that it has no 3D option. If any of us wanted to do the ride together, it works better when changing to 3D.

Yeah, these days I try to set up the leagues for 3D so I specify 3D in the searches. I used to ride a lot of videos but I think the consensus is that most prefer 3D especially if there's ghosts or it's a multi rider session. I think 3D runs smoother than video too as that seems to lock up quite regularly in my experience.

And thanks for only being a little bit ahead Guy, so the Thursday ghosts will be nice and evenly spread out. Not that I think it'll be possible to move forward from ghost to ghost but it'll be nice to have some company while moving backwards for anyone  who started a little bit too quickly.

Yeah, yeah...You gonna be working your way through, drafting away, Rick by your side, trying to pick us off one by one:evil::gun: Just you wait till the re run on Saturday! :training:

I'm comfortable adding a "guesstimate" on time for the last .4 miles. If you were hitting ~8mph at the end of the climb, then you'd need ~3 minutes to cover the last .4 miles.

Thanks for that JLaw. I quite enjoyed that ride and felt quite comfortable throughout, as anything over an hour seems very hard work for me. I will
definitely have another go at the stage, but your offer takes some of the pressure off. Hopefully my time will be very similar, and you never know it might even improve.

I think tomorrow Chain Gang might be right on the cuss of my ability having read the comments from those who have completed it - but a challenge is what it's all about,
