Going to miss both tonight's chain gang ride and the rerun on Saturday due to family commitments. May try and squeeze it in on Sunday, will it still count towards the league, or will the window have shut by then please?
I think Sunday is still fine for it Paul. I'd it's still coming up as a active on the league listing then go for it!

will try my best to be there on saturday so dont worry if any of you drop a glove or a water bottle i will pick it up about 20mins later , also if it makes things neater you can delete me from mountain goats . it plays havoc with me dodgy knee as much as i liked it . this is the first month i should be completed a league and i have really enjoyed it so thanks to the bigwigs who take time to sort it
Sorry to hear that berty. Those climbs do put some pressure on the knees for sure!
Wishing everyone a happy new year - good luck with your 2016 cycling goals...

I've just bought a new Genesis Equilibrium30 as hoping to ride John o'groats to lands end this year, must be nuts !
Very jealous on both counts there. Lovely bike and a challenge I would love to do also!!

Chaingang race at 7pm tonight

I know its New Years eve but those of us dedicated to the cause (or just have no friends / have young kids etc.. ^_^) will still be there for the

Epic finale of the Chaingang 2015!

Look out for Tramo 50km Bujalance-Cordoba on the Live tab just after 7pm.

Any difficulties finding it just search using the advanced tab for 'Rickb'.

Hoping to get some drafting on this one!! :bicycle::bicycle::bicycle:

That's it Carlo, you've put it in writing - I'm taking a screenshot of this! No backing down on it now!

I can't make it, have kids but no friends, my excuse is nothing in the legs after the 51 miler this morning, the wind was brutal, and the bike needs a good clean and maybe some grease in the bottom bracket after riding through a couple of local floods, the worst one was a good 8 inches deep. The less deep one I managed to find a big hole and fell off, wet feet but managed to save the sandwich. I'll pop by and watch though.

And what did you have handy that you could judge a 'good eight inches' by?
Were you exagerating!

I tried this yesterday, but had to stop after an hour due to chest pains!!!! I'm hoping it's just a cold coming on, but the wife was quite insistent that I got off the bike  She's such a spoil sport
