Mate of mine uses a power meter - can't remember the brand - but reckons the Bkool is accurate to within 10%. Anecdotal I know but I'm sure others can maybe post their own direct experience. Downhill figures for sure maybe wrong but on an uphill and / or steady gradient I'd expect (or hope) it to be reasonably accurate.
Same thing here, both uphill and flat. A friend of mine reports the same thing uphill, but actually reads more power (BKool displays too little power) on a flat section.

We both have BKool Pro:
SW 2.53
FW 3.06

And the Snowbird Hillclimb (traditional route) is verified for the Moose riders as well. One minor glitch on the approach road where it seems to take you off-course very briefly. When ridden, don't blow yourself out on the approach (first 3.5 miles), you've still got the nasty miles from the Little Cottonwood climb to go. As with the other rides, I laid down a gentle pace -- 1:37ish.

So far we've got:

Next on tap to verify:

Still not sure on the last two rides. The first 3 are pretty tough, so maybe I'll tone down the final two.

Get it done mate I saw you watching last night lol
Turns out I am not quite as over my bug as I thought I was. Went to the doc's last night. I've now got something resting on my lungs, so I am now on anti biotics :banghead:. Will not do a group chaingang this afternoon as I'll end up chasing a target way beyond my current physical state (broken). But I will do a solo z1/2 session, just to turn the legs over :bicycle:  :surrender:.

Chaingang Race rerun this evening 5pm

Course: Spin round the block with Liam
http://www.bkool.com/classification/showIndividualStageClassification/4873

25 km rolling course - no big hills or descents

Warm-up begins at 5pm for 10 minutes - look for it under the 'Live' tab between 5 and 5:10pm - if you cant see it use the advanced search at the bottom of the screen and search for 'Rickb'. Do not start a session from the League tab - you must join it from the Live tab if you want to race against each other. Remember to stop pedaling well before the end of the warm up.

See you on the start line! :pump:

I'm still out, reckon it will be a couple of weeks until I'm cycling again let alone chain ganging.

Get well soon monte! :hugs:

There's something very energy sapping about the Stage 1 course - or else its the fact I'm on Gails bike and it doesnt spin just as well (Yeah, I'll use that as my excuse!!)

Thanks for waiting on me Bill - I'd nothing more to give! :heat:

I enjoyed this ride more than Thursdays. It's fun drafting and taking turns at the front. For a while I thought we'd maybe catch up with Bob & Jonbon but I guess we just weren't quite giving it enough for that.
I was hoping for a race to the line as I've rarely ever had one and thought perhaps you'd nail it down that hill and slingshot past me before I know what's happening, and kick my ass to the line"? That would be fun. ^_^

Thanks Ryan. It looks like a good goat stage with a decent length and vertical height. We'd ideally need it to be 3D which could take bkool a while to do. Have you downloaded the ride to bkool? I'll happily use it as a goat league ride and any other climbs of yours.

Well done all. I was called to work today, and only just made it back to watch the race. AAAC, you got me there :notworthy:. The lesson must be: don't use a d'Huez-like mountain as warm-up like you did thursday^_^
