Apologies Bill, for blowing your cover! I had noticed that a few of the higher echelons of the cycling community have joined forces with you old die hards.

I have no intention (at this early stage) of even trying to compete with you Bill, not unless I use <SLOPE REDUCTION>. I have already tried challenging Kipster, Berty and a few others, and been handed my ass every time.

At this point I literally have a Goat infested mountain to climb. But I shall endeavour to do just that.

hit the first slope at no power and a similar speed to yours and then the second one at full chat

Bill I did a quick up down session today and kept the power on into the second climb.
Never seen anything like it, who said BSim tops out at 1200 watts.
Can't exactly say what I did see because I got too busy laying down the watts but looked up and over 1600 was showing as I was climbing the 6% on a 50/11.
Not saying I was doing 1600 watts which is the whole point.
Shame is I pressed the wrong button and deleted the ride.
I'll have to have a look at this again some time.

PS. Did a nice flat session today in semi-race mode:

22.3 km and it might be a good handicap ride but cetainly a good chaingang ride.

Hey, sorry about that, didn't see your msg in time. Just finished!. Next time I'll pay more attention, I believe that you can run them with other people meeting at the right time just as the chainbang, actually I have had some unknown company previously in other solo attempts of league rides. You would have spent me though! Next time I'll announce it with more time, around 8pm (7pm your time) is good for me.

Bill, got some bad news....the Double Devil is running again this year. 29th May. Same accommodation invitation applies of course. But I won't be signing up until nearer the time, see what the weather is doing first. Obviously might want to get your 24hr epic' Athlon out the way first.....

No problem. In the end i didnt do a ride tonight as the legs felt empty. It would be good motivation to have some live competition on a goat stage.

So I've got no idea what I'm doing differently from the Goats league setup when I set up the Moose league -- regardless, when I set up the Moose ride, I've been unable to add ghosts, but I can consistently add them to a Goat league ride.

So my question is this -- shall I go ahead and turn the Moose league back on? I don't mind manually approving rides. If you want ghosts, you'll want to copy the ride so it's a non-league, add your ghosts, ride it, then ride the league ride for a minute or so.

I did a chaingang ride the other day. When I was in my scheduled sessions I opened the ride on the right hand side under 'See' and then edit and added ghosts that way. My sessions was auto approved.

It also allowed me to identify my session easier as I knew how many opponents I had put in.

So, session 4 of the goats (Col. de la madeleine) looked dreadful but it is actually not nearly as bad as the killer San Glorio stage was, with roughly the same distance. One third of it is flat-1% descent. The ramps are very steep though. GPS track is a little rubbish and as a good goat you will climb walls (and literally get into the mountains) at several places.
