Ok I'll start the ride tonight

Good man Paul. Just start the session from the league listings on bsim and make sure you pedal for the whole warm up. That's it really!

Many thank guys for all who offered and hope you have a good one. Try to take it easy on Gail!

Copy the stage, like you would for any normal league ride.
Then look at it in your scheduled rides with the button on the right, there should be an edit option in the sub window.
Click edit and add ghosts as you see fit, note the number of ghosts.

To start
Just start the session like any other from the league tab @5. If you have added ghosts, look for the ride with the amount you added, if more than one of the ride there.
keep pedalling for the full 10 minute warmup to allow others to join.
Enjoy
I just checked that it's possible to add ghost this way. It's worth mentioning that these sessions with ghosts, sometimes skip the warm up and goes strait to the race. In that case one should find a league version with no ghosts, or perhaps try to challenge one of the existing league rides to at least get one ghost.

Paulf1566, are you starting the race?
Edit: just saw that you did.

No worries Add. We'll see if anyone else comes along sure and take it from there

@BILL S - you racing today?

My cold got worse the past couple of days and I really shouldn't have done a goats ride yesterday, so just planning to watch the race today. I would have been happy to start it off though and then bail, but I see Pauls going to start it. I'll be backup for starting it in case there's any problems

Ah, but Randy is in a different timezone, and has to start 9 hours after you. That should just about be enough time for you to finish ahead!

Randy, if you did have poor luck that run, how about we start you off with the guys you usually finish close to?

I see from Stage 2 that you finished just ahead of Steve, Jon, Kris and on Stage 3 just behind Cj bon. How about you start together with them all at 13.0 minutes?

N.B. If anyone else had a really bad run and wants a more realistic start let us know and we'll adjust your start time to start a little later. All the better to motivate you...

Cheers,

Geoff
That sounds perfect. Thanks.

I don't see how they could possibly support and implement the new modes it if not through FE-C, so I would suggest that you try the beta firmware for the kickr. Your info actually gives me hopes that the BSIM update actually delivers some of what we are waiting for!

I just tried updating the KICKR firmware to the FE-C beta (using the secret swipe!) and it made no difference at all. Still crawls down -10% declines at a few miles per hour.

@Bkool emailed me to say they had tried it on their KICKR and it did give blue speed figures, so not sure why the live version doesn't work for my KICKR or Baldo and Monte's Tacx. Hopefully they'll get to the bottom of it soon.

Sounds promising though if they have a KICKR working right at their end. Won't be long til everyone can enjoy some freewheeling! :bicycle:

If Bkool sort the downhill issues I will be very tempted to buy a Wahoo Kickr, and I would certainly renew my software subscripton.
