holy cow...outputs in the high 400's and 500's watts puts you firmly in the world tour pro category. Thats a rare thing outside of pro cycling.

So if I follow the procedure and get on the sim say 20 minutes before, will the ride be visible or does it only become visible when the warm up is commenced?

It only becomes visible when the warm up commences, you should only join when your handicap time is reached, the password and everything else is as in the separate thread - click here - Chain Gang Handicap Race

It is well worth practicing, I have had a test session running most evenings and can do again tomorrow if you message me or post on here.

Cheers,

Geoff

So sorry you had gremlins, you seem to be the only one that didn't get a time posted! :headshake:

Did Bsim crash or was it the connection?

At least you won't get your handicap cut for Saturday, assuming you can get the gremlins under control!

Geoff
Ive been having issues lately with my connection, after nearly launching my router out of the window I rang SKY and very politely expressed my anger:boxing:
I have now a new router being delivered tomorrow:wahhey:. very frustrating as I slipped out of work early to make it home in time , for that to happen!
but hey ho hopefully all will be resolved tomorrow and I can have another crack on Saturday. but I will say being chased down was a new experience I'm always chasing, :secret:, but nicely organised thanks

Mayi ask what bike you have on your bkool

Nothing too special but I did get a good tip from a good Belgian Cyclo Cross friend of mine and put and extra battery in the seat tube.for today.
Not only does it give you extra weight for descending quicker but improves your wattage on the uphills, not sure how though but it seemed to do the trick.
I spilt some drink on the bike during the session and put it outside to wash it after I had a shower but when I went back out it was gone.
I do hope my friends mechanic didn't pick it up by mistake as he might get my friend in trouble with the UCI.

Thanks again Geoff. It is a great video but I kind of feel bad I didn't wash my shirt before the race.

Ok...didnt know there was a procedure to follow. Whats the password? I haven't been on here for a few days and just expected it to be there in live, visible.
Geoff - yep. Frustration city here. I was really looking forward to getting in the mix & getting my ass kicked. Ill try for saturday at 1700...Ill be doing a 3 hour road ride in the am so it will be an interesting ride.

You must have missed one of the 200-300 posts with the instructions on mate. It is HIGHLY unlikely you will find the ride under the LIVE tab without using the FILTER :scratch:key at the bottom. In fact when I logged on earlier there weren't even any rides underway showing, it was that busy, all the 20 LIVE rides were just new riders starting sessions.

Geoff's video's are worth watching, and you will kick yourself when you see how easy it is to find the session.

Today's Improvers, any special pleading before Handicaps are increased accordingly?

I think Randy and TheBoxers had already taken big hits, so nothing much to worry about.

I wasn't too far out in my prediction for my time. I may have another minute or so I can gain. Any more and I will probably get off the bike and into a 6ftx2ftx2ft pine box xx( :surrender:
