Yeah, it's not the biggest of issues but is something that really annoys me because of how simple it surely is to rectify - particularly as they exclude the warm up/down times in the league results so clearly know how to do this! I have also emailed Bkool about it and posted it on the thread for making them aware of issues - https://www.cyclechat.net/threads/bkool-issues-and-ideas-what-do-you-want-to-tell-bkool.191569/ - which @Bkool have posted on to say they're listening, but it's clearly not a priority. Hopefully if enough of us make the point to them they'll get round to rectifying it at some point....
And while we're on the subject of annoying BKool stuff, get rid of all that pish on the screen during warm up. I want to see who's in the line up and who's doing warm up etc, not a bloody big timer. It used to be ok before they did a stupid update and changed it. That one, even though it is even less important than the session timing, REALLY gets on my nerves.
And not being able to add every other league ghost into a league run too.

GRRRRRR. :cursing:

With some of these issues, I always think surely Bkool staff use the system and website themselves - why don't these things annoy the hell out of them too??!!

I totally agree with you Adam.
@Bkool this is very annoying and I doubt you have a single customer who likes what you did there. We all liked to see who was on the start line but instead we get this useless box blocking everything out. Please change it back.

Ha! Thanks for the support

100% that. I really can't justify paying someone else to do something I can do myself but I find it incredibly tedious...

I've got a voice inside me saying "go on! just tosh it on! Move on to the fun stuff in life!!"

But I know in my heart if I don't do it properly it'll constantly bug me so... Time to get the filler out for round 2 with the skirting boards...
You should try doing it as a job, it tests my patience all the time

Hi!
I'm new to this forum and stumbled upon this forum. I totally agree with you bridgy. When finished a stage, the the actual riding time is presented but afterwards in stats etc it with warnup and cool down unless one do as you stated. I've suggested Bkool to fix this but don't hold your breath

Funny reply from Bkool on this! They say:

"When it comes to rankings it is better to have a sum of the times (warm-up + session time + cold down), because rankings don't depend on speed average only, distance and time count as well, so the more it sums, the better."

Anyone have any idea what they mean here, considering their rankings do in fact show the actual ride times EXCLUDING warm up/down, and not what they say above?! (which is a good thing!)

Bit bizarre

Seem to be saying it's better to log the total time on course as this is an advantage? To who is not so clear...

Yeah that's what they seem to be saying. The irony is that in the rankings they're talking about, they do the complete opposite to this, and actually log just the ride time without warm up/down!

Looking forward to this - thanks Geoff!

The worse thing about these handicap rides is seeing the faster guys joining the ride after me one by one, with a growing sense of dread! Also, the time gaps of those behind me always seem FAR shorter during the rides than they look on paper and I'm thinking "OH NO, NOT HIM ALREADY!!"

I think they are talking about the rankings under the share tab where they rank you for total time, distance, sessions and climbing.
Sadly I'm still out of town and will miss the handicap today but hope to try to watch.

Ah, thanks Randy maybe you're right would make some sense at least! Well I've never looked in there and have no interest in it so they are welcome to keep total time in that section - just put the ride time only everywhere else, and only export this to Strava please Bkool!
