Thanks for the heads up, I hadn't look at the route in detail. Hopefully they have a diversion on the route card. I'm not too worried about the distance, as the average speed will be low, but I've decided to ride to the start and then back home adding on another 28 miles.
Perhaps Red Lane is passable on a bike but not cars. Fingers crossed.

Hope the weather is better than the forecast!

Have fun.

Not been here for a while - lost the love a bit after going down hill on blue and being overtaken (i'm heavy).

But looking to come back next week.

Mainly because its taken me all day to catch up with the chat!

Actually, looking at some of the other times now coming in my previous ride doesn't look too bad - maybe I was trying harder than I thought!!

Don't judge by my time, I was feeling a unwell, and my HR was high because of it. I was trying but could do better, I think you can easily take 4 for 5 minutes off of your time. I just hope I've done enough to stay ahead of Adam in the league. He's got to take just over 2 minutes out of my time, I reckon he'll do it

Plus I had a nightmare start, had to rush to get the cadence sensor on at the end of the warm up and was sat on the start line for what seemed an age, but was probably only 10 seconds, then had to push to catch up.

It was 45 seconds off the line and 25mph before the speed numbers turned white. Also going downhill I was constantly held back by Blue numbers.

Bkool replied to my email. Their suggestion was to un install Bsim and re install. Did that didn't work. I will go back to them

I had a good time with Monte, but eventually he got the better of me. Also a couple if others took me on the last climb. Pleased with my position

wow, what a welcome back... I was certainly empty on the last few miles, that hill hurt.

I blew a gasket early on and never recovered, half way down the long decent my brain switched off , tried perfecting the drafting technique with Benh near the end, but had nothing left for the final hill all in all quite abismal and disappointing.

Did you buy a new pro unit Monte?

quick version, I've obtained a 2nd hand unit which works well and has confirmed my old unit was never right, however the unit was making some very strange loud noises... I have ordered a kickr but to be honest im a lot more happier with this unit and feel for chain ganging I should stick to a bkool unit. might strip the unit down and see what the hell was making all that noise.

Did the noise sound like torturous heavy breathing, with a tinge of wheeze? Mine does exactly the same thing.
