Wow, that's a crowded start line. Wish you could get rid of that flaming banner...

I would have been there but it very quckly became apparent that my Premium has expired, although I renewed it last month.
It may be a bit of a home goal as I was cleaning out dead Direct Debit records in my Bank Account last month and I may have deleted the BKool subscription.
None the less I was able to run the ride on my own in parrallel, perhaps I turned up as a ghostly figure somewhere in the live session.
I have to admit that was real hard, I was pushing on the downhills alot as well and because I was riding on my own I was watching my numbers more.
It's funny because comparing the slight downhills with uphills I can often go a but quicker uphill and then there was often an obvious lag between a downhill starting and the resistance decreasing.
I had a stitch set in at about 3/4 way, probably due to dehydration as I have a cold setting in.
I tried to ride through it but it persisted. Also because of the onset of cold my glands were obviously all a bit swollen including my prostrate and the lack of hills and high speed didn't give me much chance to stand up.
Because of the stitch, the saddle discomfort and the lack of reference to how I was doing in comparison I almost jacked it in but after about 20 seconds of backing of plus removing the big picture, that fell of the piano when I re-angled the fan and wedged itself up against my back fork, the stitch went and I was able to carry on to the end.
The only reference was my average speed and that was still just a bit higher than Jacobs as I approached the flatter section before the last climb.
And then came that last climb, I thought I could power into it and get up a good portion on the Pro benfits but that didn't really happen and I just had to dig and dig, once I was over the top I literally cruised in to the finish absolutely exhausted.
My time did not auto registered as my weight has gone down by 1kg from 77 to 76 (but I am now actually 74 in my socks) but I managed 1:13 qucker than Jacob, no wonder I was dying.
It was perhaps my most unpleasant ride to date short of the one last year, when I had a slight angina attack afterwards, but the unpleasantness was due to the lack of the live competition which is, as is often said, the great thing about live leagues and this chat forum.

It was 45 seconds off the line and 25mph before the speed numbers turned white. Also going downhill I was constantly held back by Blue numbers.

Bkool replied to my email. Their suggestion was to un install Bsim and re install. Did that didn't work. I will go back to them

I had a good time with Monte, but eventually he got the better of me. Also a couple if others took me on the last climb. Pleased with my position

It's not your problem, anyone can see that from the Tuesday video, you and JLaw, the only KICKR's, had exactly the same issue, no-one else had the problem.

It is very frustrating to see the usual first line support scripted responses (I've run Technical Support departments and know that they have to do it).

I hit 51.7 mph.at that point and topped 56mph a little later. Blue numbers interfering with pressing on

I shouldn't worry about the blue numbers going downhill, I can't see that they are holding you back. You couldn't pedal faster than 51.7 mph, so just like in real life, relax and catch your breath.

The blue numbers uphill, though, they are clearly a glitch in the algorithm, frustrating that they fix one thing and break another.

That's the second group ride in a row that the software's let me down - last time it wouldn't save the ride, this time wouldn't let me start it! Went and did a shorter ride on my own in the end. Couldn't even spectate until closing the app and restarting a couple of times, then it did eventually seem to start working again. So annoying.

I will have to do the re-run as I have done the ride already but I was taking it easy - not done it at full effort yet!

Delete BSim from your PC and reload it again. If you have a tool like the AVG maintenace tool then clean your registy after you have deleted it and before reloading, that might help stabalise the system.
How much RAM do you have?

At the end of the 8.1% section at 5.1 miles (8.1 km) most of the front runners were doing about 44-45 mph, but TheBoxers was 50 mph.

I maxed at 44/45 ish 70.3 kph

As you can see from the video, you did appear perfectly in the multi-user session, I guess it just didn't show you the other riders.

I wonder what affect you may have got from drafting, even though unaware of it.

quick version, I've obtained a 2nd hand unit which works well and has confirmed my old unit was never right, however the unit was making some very strange loud noises... I have ordered a kickr but to be honest im a lot more happier with this unit and feel for chain ganging I should stick to a bkool unit. might strip the unit down and see what the hell was making all that noise.

Yeah, the bkool units are going to be best for the chaingang. Maybe yours just has the old rubbing side cover or perhaps some bits floating around inside. Can't do any harm to pull it apart and see.

I got booted out at the bottom of the big descent. I was not a happy camper!! For some reason my Samsung Galaxy just rebooted mid race!

Looks like me and AAAC had the same problem - I too couldn't see anyone else, but I see I was there in the video.

I was going to just carry on as you did AAAC but I got weirdly and worryingly out of breath - could hardly breathe at all. Never experienced that before, but was very unpleasant! So on the basis I couldn't see anyone else anyway, I bailed out!

There is nothing too technical about stripping them. The only thing to be aware of is if you want to remove the flywheel the nuts have very strong threadlock on them and do quite a bit of damge on removal. The Pronut is a bit harder to get to as it is shrouded by the plastic ring that the fan mounts on which is attached by for screws on the back of the flywheel and therefore almost impossible to get to without taking of the flywheel!

It was indeed very tough. I want to make sure I draft most of the way on Saturday so going to have a rest between now and then so the bu99ers can't get away from me this time.

You quickly opened up a gap of about a minute on me over the first bumps and the downhill, but on the flatter sections I could gain a little time on you by some more efficient slingshotting it seemed. I noticed that you slingshotted too, but I think mine worked just a little better. I think I was within 20 seconds at one point.
The final blow for me was when I ran out of Foo Fighters about 10 K's from finish. Then I suddenly felt how much the legs were hurting and had to ease of a bit.

Did you have an HR band on? if so what was your HR doing when you were 'out of breath'.
My angina first became apparent when I was walking my dogs.
On a steep wooded slope I suddenly felt out of breath. I stopped and tried to get my breath back but I was just not recovering, it was most disconcerting.
Next time I went on the same walk I put on and HRM and walked swiftly up a few hills untill it happened again. My HR dropped to about 50 bpm and I didn't feel better until it went up again. I repeated this on a few furtherwalks.
I went to my GP who said I probably had a form of effort induced asthema and he said he had the same problem so I just put up with it for 4 years until I had to see the GP again, who by this time was on Beta Blockers. I few days later I was having a full ECG and a week after that I had 3 heart stents fitted and I have never looked back.
