And if you don't accept my money I'll donate it to Donald trumps election campaign instead! Is that what you want coz that's what will happen!
i lost you Bill about 5.01I don't know at what point it stopped working for you Mark, but I lost my connection while we were still together and when it came back 5 minutes later I couldn't see anyone. I could see spectators coming and going but couldn't see any riders. Were you booted out completely?
Could anyone see me near the end at all or was I just riding on my own?
I got called into work right at the end of the ride and just now I'm catching up on here and laughed out loud as someone was walking by the shop door and stopped and looked at me as if I was crazy. I could have explained that a guy in Wales paid someone to impersonate him at his wife's race but it wouldn't help dispel the idea.Luckily enough I spotted a tall guy at the finish, gave him my hat and coat, and told him to shout, 'come on Mary!' at every female finisher. Left the kids with him too and shot home. Kind of relying on her being fairly euphoric and not quite with it when she finishes.
Just hope the stranger cuffed the kids to the railings when he had finished with them.
Enjoyed that ride immensely. Don't know what was different, but felt a lot better. It was nice to spend a bit of time with the Alpha pack, before they snorted in contempt, and hit the gas.
Was wondering if Tommy and Randy were going to work together and reel me in.
Smack most likely.Add...you need to report to dopage at the finish paddock...there is a query on your biopassport readings.... Big Dave isnt happy....

I was trying to keep up with TT and burned out at mile 21 just as he got a burst of speed. From that point I just wanted to finish. Thanks for the drafting Turbo.
Bill it was all good until 15 minutes to go. Mine just froze with you in front of me. It hung for about 2 minutes, then gave me the whirly 'thinking about it' wheel...then' Bsim stopped working' pop up. Its my PC working at its limit I think.
working well but you were surging forward on occasions which kept opening a 3-4 second gap. Other than that it was just like the real thing for most of the ride..deffo a big advantage in drafting.
ou were waiting for me several times & had I made it to the final climb I think you would have had me.
Nice one bud! Thanks....looking forward to the next one....Bob could have been a bit more considerate though.....!!!.......
Bill - I would have tried to attack you over the top of the climb....but I fear the slingshot effect & I think you are more of a puncheur than me...
Looks like you were there throughout the whole session, but Bobinski disappeared for one minute about 39:30.I don't know at what point it stopped working for you Mark, but I lost my connection while we were still together and when it came back 5 minutes later I couldn't see anyone. Here's a recording. I was recording during diner, so couldn't do too much interaction. Mostly one or two guys in front, apologies to the other participants.

I was really enjoying it tbh. I gave it everything to get out front at the start, hit 700ish watts I think, but that took its toll. Like you say, it's just a stamina thing, I can't hold it like you guys, but if was nice to get a taste of it for sure. Hopefully the stamina will come in time.Just so long as you realised that all bets were off if we'd made it as far as the hill at the end. I think that's the unwritten rule that we all use when drafting in a group. Shame that Bob was too inconsiderate to let us catch him as we'd have given him a good race up the hill with the energy we saved. I think that was what he was worried about.
Yeah, the surging was making it difficult to draft at times and once or twice I just seemed to shoot forward involuntarily and then had to wait.
No idea what would have happened on the final climb but it would've been fun either way.
Pity Rick wasn't there as additional drafting support. And Adam, you were doing great with us. What happened to you? I did actually think to myself that there's definitely something changed about Adam. Just need to be able to hang on a bit longer but looks like you're almost back to your old self.
