That looks really good! Definitely can't make the dates this year but would be up for something like that maybe next year. I will bookmark the link!

Cool. The guy who runs it seems nice. Its significantly cheaper than other similar "boutique" holidays. He knows i want to have as much as a week long Alps or similar trip next year. I,ll let everyone here know just in case anyone can afford time/cost/disapproval of loved ones enough to join in:okay:

It's bloody dangerous outdoors... :stop:

Mind you, it sounds pretty dangerous on some of these cyclechat bkool sessions, with talk of sickness, injury and exhaustion a plenty!

It's strange, but the pain doesn't come across when spectating, even when the Heart Rate is showing crazy numbers...

Geoff
The pain may well come across a little more if I were to switch my mic on, and it would be blatantly evident if I were to switch on my webcam.

Anyway, better get back to work, before Paul has another pop!

I've put a few slates on, but in my defence, the sun is shining in my eyes.

It's nice and sunny up here in the Developing World too! And I'm slating in sunshine, which is a very alien concept!
But it's still no where near the required tropical conditions necessary for me to unbuckle my ride from the BKool, and unless I can convince Camlo to drive in front, with the TV playing on the pickup tailgate, it's a no go for me!

That Adam, is an awesome idea!

Glad to see everbody hard at work again today.

I actually have to go into work next week, gutted...

I'd be well up for that bob. As your colleagues have proved, talk is cheap... but please do mention it again nearer the time as I'm really looking to do something like this. I'm sure there's a few here that feel the same

Well I am currently sitting in a moderately sunny Norwich waiting to collect No1 son from outside his university whilst feeling VERY old.

I had tried to get some colleagues to go on a Ventoux trip this summer

I'm going to attempt Ventoux next year, we have a 2 week cycling holiday planned and will spend 2 or 3 days at various places in France before setting off to Ventoux for a couple of days and hopefuly tackle it with decent weather and little wind :hyper:

@LBHIFI while I was reviewing the recording of you and Bill, I noticed that neither of you had a Heart Rate Monitor on and I know Bill has ordered one.

I checked through the recordings and almost everyone is using one, apart from you, @TurboTommy and @Gaileb

Have you guys thought about using one? I know it's selfish of us spectators, but it is good to see this info!

General consensus seems to be that this one is good ... http://www.wiggle.co.uk/wahoo-tickr-heart-rate-monitor-for-iphone-and-android/

They seem to sell them in the Apple stores as well! ;)

Be careful as there is also a more expensive TICKR Run and a TICKR X

The Garmin one is a little cheaper, but only ANT+.

I hope you don't mind my cheeky suggestion... :shy:

you big :girldance:

I love getting out on the bike in most conditions, I draw the line at icy. However i'm stuck in an office all day and I relish fresh air. I guess you get enough fresh air with your job.

By the time it gets to tropical, I'm slapping on the factor 50!
