Wow, just crawled out of my pit and I mean crawled.. I wanted to be up @6. I wanted to do a real world ride today. Not going to happen . The legs are else where :B).

I think a trundle this afternoon on the trainer to recover :surrender:.
I'm not in a good place today. I'm in such a state my wife, who is disabled, is having to help me get around the house! Never had legs so stiff :surrender:

I have one. Only used a few times. It is fine though being quite clumsy I find it a faff to set up. If I was looking now I would probably go with sea suckers. Have a look at the road cc review.
Well thanks for the advice @bobinski on the back of that I have ordered a Sea Sucker mini bomber 3 or whatever it is called and a new car to go underneath it. You do realise if this all goes wrong and it becomes unstuck flinging 3 bikes into the path of whoever is following me you are responsible don't you?

Blimey this isn't filling me with confidence was going to shuffle out to the garage once the grand prix had finished to try the last course
Just give it a go. Pick a time, load the ghosts and stick to them like glue :boxing:. As they are ghosts don't spell them. I suggest using bill, lars and aaac .

Seriously whomevers ghost you choose, stay behind them. It is the only way I could have got my time if I didn't have breedon . Just look at Goldwolfies and my efforts. Afters we went solo the power and heart rates shot up, 50 extra watts and 20 bpm for the same speed .

103% effort on a flat course... Massive kudos Bill, and also AAAC for the team work.
Cheers Monte. I like to think it may have had something to do with the excessive beers I drank the night before. LB did say he used snakebite for the last 5km so perhaps loading up on beer well before the ride (as per beetroot juice) is an even better way to go.

Ha well when this has torn the roof off I may be coming back looking for a good deal on that!

Now have a 6 bike Pendle trailer to sell and also a 4 bike Witter tow bar mounted one to flog. Mrs Soarerv8 has just pointed this out to me quite clearly.

Alright guys (and girls) - What do you fancy for the next chaingang??

I'm already starting to get it tight fitting all in and for the next two Thursday evenings I'll hopefully be competing in my first TT events - happy to set up another league but just might have to call on others to start sessions more often! I see some are packing up the Bkool for the Spring/Summer, so numbers will be dropping from here onwards I should think. :sun: :rain:

I've been really enjoying the latest offerings Rick. Long and flat suits me but the hilly ones are good too. All the chaingang leagues have been excellent though so more of the same please. And whatever everyone else want's too

I'll be doing them as long as there's enough of us to justify you setting them up. And anytime you want me to start them off just let me know. Thanks very much for setting these up for us Rick.

No worries Bill. Been really enjoying doing it and it seems the courses have worked out well. Always entertains me seeing people's reactions to some of them!

Will have to get cracking on the next one and get it running ASAP. :becool:

Well said Bill

My attendance has been a little patchy of late but id like to keep going through the summer so long as there's enough interest. I may need a bigger fan...

Thanks for all your efforts Rick :okay:

I'm with @BILL S , I'll still ride them as long as they are there. Can't always make the Thursday or Saturday rides due to work, but will always try to complete all rides in the league. I'm more comfortable on the hills, so the flatter rides you choose are good for me as they get me out of my comfort zone :heat:

Makes me out to be some sort of badass drill instructor.
I quite like it :training::ninja:

Ditto Whorty. I know how you feel. My legs have hurt a lot lately and none more than today.
Thats why I took a page out of aaac's book of warming down. Since I have started doing the long descent sessions (descenso) as a warm down. Turning my legs over at low revs (50-60) and almost no power (<100w), to flush the legs out, I generally don't get really sore legs. They might nag, but not really hurt, today is a rarity.

I have just done an hour of light pedalling just to turn the legs over today. Feel ok atm.

Pretty much sums it up for me as well.
Thanks for all you do here Rick and I'm still about in the evenings just not really the weekend.
