that was bloody lucky - my legs had gone

Hah! I think you found out my legs had gone ^_^ I hoped to come back at you assuming you had burnt yourself out with the effort of catching then overtaking me but you kept going. Actually made me laugh out loud as I crossed the line realising I had been well and truly skewered!

Ah ha. I did notice you catching me up up at huge race of knots - bloody scary. I thought I can't be going that slow:ohmy:
Sorry to be the bearer of blah de blah and all that :secret:

So I gamed the system .

I did too and decided to disqualify myself. I'm not suggesting you do the same.
Hopefully I can avoid taking advantage of the blue numbers on Saturday. My time was far too quick, but at least I got to scare AAAC :giggle:. Didn't have the heart to pass him at the top .

What does this "gamed the system" mean?!

i think it made it alittle easier for me being a light light weight - i dont think the resistance is any harder at 15% than 10-11 % - i hope not anyway as there has to be a perk somewhere - as soon as the slope reduced i was watching the seconds dissappear 2 at a time what was horrible as there was nothing i could do about it . i had to keep standing up as i felt more comfortable but then the wheel slipped so had to sit down till legs burnt

Ooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! That's all I have to say on that stage!

To all who I passed on that hill, Sorry .

I got to the bottom of the big one and the legs wern't there. So I gamed the system .

Still feel :B) to crap. I'd never be able to do that in real life. I'd be a pile at the side or possibly the middle of the road :surrender:

Edit to clear up some questionable spelling
I'm so glad you told us that, I was sobbing into my pool of sweat as you came passed pulling a wheelie and solving a Rubik's cube

For me anything over about 6.2% if I coast to almost a stop the resistance seems to reduce dramaticly. I am able to push a gear much larger than I should be able to. I must keep a higher cadence to make use of this quirk and it usually lasts until the slope goes lower than 6% or my legs give out as the resistance does eventually catch up. Then I have to wait until it goes back over the magic number to do it again.

Gaming the system, sorry. :blush::whistle::surrender:

I try not to do it, but sometimes you stop pedalling, or the legs will fall off, and coast at just the right moment and there it is a boost

It means that when the hill got steep the speed number went blue and I was able to ride up the hill much faster than I should have been able to.
The heavier you are the better it works I think.

Well it didn't appear to work for me - @theboxers flew passed me as if I was standing still, but there again I probably was.

Enjoyed the scrap with @Whorty, but couldn't hold. I realised I needed a reasonable lead before we got to the bottom of the final climb. Well done @Whorty, and all that took part.

I would have liked to tried out the voice chat, but was running late and didn't have time to sort it out.

enjoyed that at the hill at the end. Rod, sorry for that sprint passed you near the top.

It was also good to chat to Whorty through the ride, I'm not sure me telling him the gradients as I reached them helped him or not
Listening to you struggling up hills I knew I would be hitting 5 minutes later was slightly disheartening LOL Great technology though, and will definitely be good for the team rides. Thanks again @kipster for hosting it

For me it's 10%. I think it may be firmware related and is yet another bkool screwup caused by their medalling.
It certainly didn't happen with my old bkool pro.
