Do you mean this kit that he is wearing. It would explain a lot about team NOT RED.

Isn't that how we all test a new saddle?
That way you get to discount your shorts if it's not comfortable.
Stand up slowly if it has a large pressure relief channel though just in case something fell down the gap.

PS: I do like the front wheel stand though, I'll look for one of those.
PS2: Whoever he is he obviously knows nothing about kit as he's not using a BKool Turbo so his cycling career will probably be a bit limited.
PS3: He'd be better off going into fashion clothing as he seems to have an eye for dress sense.

Just looked at stage 5 in BSim, Average Slope 12%! Looks like a blue numbers ride for those that benefit from blue numbers (now I'm worried Bill).
Could be worse we could be going down it in which case I would probably loose 2 min.
Certainly don't recommend this for a handicap TTT.

Unfortunately AAAC the blue numbers still give an advantage even if we avoid abusing that advantage. Abusing it would involve spinning up at say 600watts and then power off and the speed stays high. What I will be doing is riding at a steady power that I can sustain for the duration, perhaps 320 watts. Tyre pressure will be low.
However, it could be the much heavier guys who kick our 4sses tomorrow if they get a much bigger advantage with the blue numbers.

I'm thinking 80 psi on my track pump gauge, which is probably 60 or 70 in reality.

in your opinion then - what sort of pressure for someone who weighs 64kg just asking as i usually shy away from these rides as back wheel is slipping all the time and it knackers my already knackered knee so any help would be handy - if you want to swap names for the evening just let me know

You weigh 13kg less than me Berty so you're going to want less PSI than me to prevent the wheelspin. This is a Friction vs Wheelspin situation here and if I could be bothered I'd change to my Tacx turbo tyre as it doesn't wheelspin. This is guesswork for me too, but I'm going to go for 80psi so for you I'd try 70psi. Worth a quick test first pre-race to make sure it feels good up a steep hill. I might raise the front of the bike a bit for this to make it feel better standing up.
