I ventured out into the real world for the first time this year. I took my fat tire rig up Little Cottonwood. Caught the first 1:40 with the gopro, but the battery died. Will have to try again, but bringing along the portable usb charger. No idea how the video turned out yet.
The bad news was it was a 2hr grind up and 'twas getting rather cold once I got up near the ski resorts. The good news, that was my target, I'd likely be faster on my road bike, and finally my first trip up last year was an amazingly painful 2:12. Put it together and I'm pretty happy. If there's a good day next week, I'll grind up again with the road bike and an external battery for the gopro.
