How accurate are you finding the new firmware on Zwift? Tried it out yesterday https://www.strava.com/activities/720066348 got every jersey and the first Sprint a second time on the second lap. Are people's opinions that us bkoolers are at an unrealistic advantage?

I haven't yet tried Zwift but everyone I know who has with a Bkool Pro trainer has said they find it pretty realistic - and less generous for speed/watts than Bkool software. Bobinski uses it a fair bit and has said this I think. If you're still getting what you think is unrealistically generous speed/power on Zwift as well as Bkool, it does sound like you may have a problem with your Bkool Pro trainer

I don't know how many smart trainers that are available that calculate power from speed, as opposed to using a strain gauge.? You have access to the kickr. That is a quick, simple way to compare.

There is new firmware?

It really sounds like you have a dodgy unit/calibration. Or you are simply bloody powerful. You are 12 secs, 40sec, and 2 minutes faster than me on each of your 3 PR's respectively. Another example is you are 50 secs faster than me on the Richmond kom, 16.9mph to my 11.9 (ouch!) I certainly don't feel i get an advantage in zwift and my hopefully useful point of comparison is the london route and box hill, eerily close to my real life efforts. If i AM getting an advantage then i doubt i will recover from the ensuing depression:sad:
I suspect that you are simply a very strong rider but that you may possibly be getting an advantage from the unit or firmware too.
Can you link to a Zwift london ride including box hill?

@Goldwolfie
Did you do the 120 laps velodrome? What was your time?

Yep I did it this morning in 39mins 44secs and followed it up with the short league ride up the Col de Madxxxx. That ride is showing in my activities but the velodrome ride hasn't appeared which is a pity as I think I averaged about 340 watts so would probably be due a promotion. Of course it may appear later.

Tonight's Chaingang ride is Neighbourhood Cruize. 7pm warmup for 7:10 start
Myself and The Boxers have already checked it out and I think we'd both agree that it's a nice wee ride that'll make you glad to be on your turbo. :smile::angel:

If you're thinking about going out in the real world instead then think again.
Something like this could easily happen to you:

I was looking forward to it, but my downstairs toilet had a leak and I need to take it all apart to try and fix, and lift the floor to let it dry out.

I hate plumbing and I like the turbo so i'm not happy.

I had the Bkool team phone me up, run teamviewer and remotely check my unit and they said its fine. They installed the latest firmware which I didn't know there was one (nor have I check version numbers in fairness)
The box hill ride I did recently is here https://www.strava.com/activities/715479537
