Yes, I'll be there too, trying to beat Bridgy's time. There's no way I can beat your time unless I get the extra-watts glitch, but if that happens I will try to finish in a time that equals the general classification.

LB, I suspect my time should be struck from the record given the weight advantage(?) so yes, Bridgy is the one to beat. Though we all wait to see what AAAC is going to do:smile:

That has worked in the past, but last time I did it, I got only the one person i challenged, despite there being 10 plus riders who were on the same ride. Its a bit of hit and miss whether it works atm.

Morning Andy. I do the same as you, challenging someone else, mainly out of laziness. I think either Bill or bridgy had a different method which meant you could pick multiple people of your choice to race and still make it an official league effort. I don't think it was completely bullet proof but pretty good.

Adding more than one ghost doesn't currently work - it's one of the things they broke when they recently "updated" the website (has anyone ever seen any actual improvements?!).

I normally just challenge someone direct from the league stage results, then find it in my scheduled sessions and edit it to add more ghosts if required - it's this adding more ghosts bit that currently isn't working, but you can still have the one ghost of the person you challenged.

The scheduled ride appears in the league tab in Bsim as well as the normal league ride (you can tell which one it is as it says how many ghosts are included before you select it), so as you've ridden it from the league tab the result shows automatically in the league results.

Hi everyone
As I am a mega Bkool newbie and the system is about as user friendly as a rabies ridden porcupine would anyone be able to tell me how to do the rides that are involved in the leagues? So if I wanted to ride the chaingang route tonight for example how would I find it so that any ride counts in the league?
Cheers in advance

Now that i've recovered from the last nights race, well I actually recovered with a slab of rocky road, i've analysed why I wasn't as fast as I thought I would be. I have no conclusion. I am certainly fitter than the spring when I last raced on bkool (3.6w/kg v 3.1 w/kg), i've lost weight (75kg v 82kg). I think I went off too fast, HR went up too quickly and I couldn't get it down again (170ish average for the 50 minutes of racing). I had pre race visions of trying to stay with Bill or Bob, but lost ground on them very quickly. A few others steamed passed me on the first bump, but I managed to then reel them in and overtake them. As per earlier in the year, I found myself in no mans land. Those in front pulling away, Goldwolfie and Rob working together and slowly reducing my lead (45 seconds to 35 seconds) over the first long flat section. At each bump i'd eek out a few more seconds.

Then I noticed that Goldwolfie and Rob had split, so I increased the speed to a few minutes to try and make the gap bigger. I thought, they'd have to try really hard to catch me now they have stopped working together. I didn't know what my legs would do when I got to the lumpy bits at the end and wanted a reasonabe gap, in the end I managed to keep Goldwolfie at bay, I think I pulled out another 30 seconds on him by the finish, but had to dig deep to do that. I did learn that I am still no closer to Bill or Bob, not that I had any ambitions to get into team blue!

The weather looks rubbish tomorrow so I may play catch up on stage 2.

Fair play, given the time difference, it doens't look like my ghost assited you in any way, apologies for that!
I quickly made time on the first hill, then slowly eased slowly away on the flats. I was hoping other riders would be on the ride, either ghosts or live, but alas no. I just tried to keep an even cadence, just keep within my limits and hope I didn't lose form near the end. I have ditched my heart rate monitor, I think I was checking too much and backing off. I prefer to feel my discomfort and adjust than rather a set number.

I seemed to lose lots of ground and time, to everyone, on that first hill, not sure what I did wrong other than not pedal hard enough!

Have a few suspicious stages myself .
My plan is to do all the Chaingang stages hoping to have fair races. If I should encounter the superwatt glitch, then I'll use that particular stage to level the league. If I don't encounter it again, then I'll have to bail the last stage before completion.

No need to strike your time off the results as you haven't actually jumped any places. You have caught up to being quite close behind myself and Bridgy though so in a way it's all good for the racing. I think at the next admin meeting the admins are going to be voting on whether riding Alpe d'Huez the next evening would be a fitting penalty for those failing to correct their weights before chaingang rides. One of the admins (who shall remain nameless ) even suggested that the ride might need to be at a specific time so other members could drop in an hurl insults at the said infringer.

Another flat course, I see sweet revenge just over the horizon:tongue: No way is Bill going to let that stand^_^

Nicely done Andy!! I didn't see that coming at all .
But you know me... Not really being the competitive type when Saturday at 5pm comes around I'll probably be more interested in just enjoying the ride rather than trying to reclaim my 4th spot or even trying to get a 3rd or 2nd spot.
