@gbrown No worries Geoff. I'll start the warmup tomorrow at 7:50 then once the race is started I'll exit then start at my handicap time.

edit: I have fond memories of the handicap chases. Back in the good old days when I was still able to beat @bridgy. :cycle:
Now he beats me by 10 minutes on a Mountain Goat race :B)
I seem to be able to go straight uphill quicker than you - found the same in the weight handicap rides - but I still struggle to live with you on a long flat/undulating course.

Found that goat ride strangely enjoyable - like Whorty and Breedon were saying earlier you can get into a rhythm that's very different to a fast paced chaingang stage. Not sure how my legs will feel tomorrow though *excuse mode*

I'm like @Whorty where I find the chaingang more difficult than the goats.

I've just completed training loop and find the variance in speed and high speeds more difficult than to sit at a steady low cadence

Just seen handicap league is back and at further distances than September. I need to get Brownie points with my good lady in the bag as I need to spend a lot of nights on the bike with chaingang, handicap and goats:thumbsup:

Best thing now the nights are drawing in and the weather gets all crappie, then you find that you redo stages to beat your previous times you wont have time to go out now ^_^:bicycle:

I'm struggling to do all the stages once, let alone reruns ^_^
Any tips on keeping my good lady happy whilst always diving in the garage for a Bkool session?

I wouldn't have thought any of us would atually threaden Ryan, the real mountain goat :notworthy:.
I struggle to find watts in the goats league, but unfortunately I think they reflect reality more than the Chaingang rides.
We'll see - Going to try out some Gran Canarain mountains soon, and I plan to bring my power pedals.

Looks like I'll be in a unhappy place when I've done the next goat stage no way i can beat you bill but I'll give it a go:crazy:xx( good time btw

Thanks, the way I felt at the start I'm lucky to get that time. I did put in a bit more effort than Bonette although the suffering was probably equal. Good luck in beating my time ;). It may be just a little tougher than last time. I hope.

You're fitter than me Paul. The Double Devil showed that. I still think that it's what you can do uphill on the turbo that really counts and any discrepancies on flat rides are probably down to the tyres. I'm 2kg heavier than last year now so finding I'm definitely a bit slower on the goat stages.
