:thanks:
But you did actually beat me Paul :cycle:. You started a few seconds behind which got me a bit worked up at the start wondering how to deal with it. I realised that if we drafted together then I'd be in trouble at the end. As was the case. Lars waited for me at one point and brought me back up to you. Thanks Lars.

Ah but Bill, the real kudos is winning on the road. Not your fault if someone starts a few seconds behind you!

I just use the elapsed time for adjusting the handicaps, starting on time is all part of the challenge.

And I do check that people don't start early!

Goes a bit funny at the end as I didn't switch away from Lars fast enough and crossed the line with him, and when I came back in the 3D wouldn't show so I finished with the video.

Don't forget to download the video if you want to see past 15 minutes, and it's usually better quality as well.

A couple of interesting things to look out for...

05:28 JonBon enters the session
05:44 I switch to JonBon 16 seconds after he enters the session, but his elapsed time already shows 20 hours 48 minutes and 06 seconds!
28:08 I switch away from JonBon 2 seconds before he crosses the line, his elapsed time shows 21 hours 10 minutes and 30 seconds!

24:30 The express train catches Soarerv8, who fights back manfully...
28:25 Bill and Bridgy wind up for a sprint finish
28:54 Bridgy's heart rate hits 182 (gulp)

Thanks for the entertainment guys! :bravo:

Several minutes faster yes - but I make it more like 4 1/2 minutes quicker than my previous best on that course I think? I got a bit confused looking into that because I think we've used a slightly different version of that course at times in the past?

Yes I guess the drafting with Lars and Bill would have made a big difference - plus a bit of improved fitness which allowed me to keep up with them in the first place!

OK after 5 consecutive days on the turbo, about 130 miles, tomorrow is definitely a day off :wahhey: :surrender:. My legs are seizing up just sitting in front of the computer :B). I need some rest for Thursdays chaingang .

@bridgy, I had a previous best time of 24:36 for you, set during one of these handicap chases, so around 3 minutes improvement, which is very impressive over such a competitive time in the first place.

24:30 Soarerv8 does something very silly and decides to try to play with the boys from big school. They knock off his glasses, steal his lunch money and throw him into a hedge where he lies dazed and confused in a pool of his own wee at about 24:33 but for those 3 glorious seconds............

Good grief that was hard. @Goldwolfie you have really moved up a league want to swap your white jersey for my XL green one?

@theboxers you really kept me honest at the end.

Put it down to retirement and the 40 mile warm up this afternoon out in the rain. Getting plenty of miles in outdoors has certainly helped my turbo efforts.

Regarding shirt swapping, the XL size would probably fit but let's see where Geoff's magic puts us at the end of these sessions. I enjoyed it on the autobus last season, but I'm sure it will be just as much fun which ever team we end up in.

There also appears to be quite a lot of new talent joining us just recently, so it could be quite interesting how it all pans out.
