Have I answered everything? I like the idea of a designated DD room too, so we don't clutter this forum up with Tommy's sleeping arrangements.

The Metropole is very nice, you guys staying there are spoiling yourselves a bit. Swimming pool and massages available.

Definitely the place to eat Sunday night after the event, really nice bar there too.

My HRM seems to have stopped working with the new software. Anyone got any ideas why that may be? Something to do with pairing no doubt.

Mine did as well but it could be something to do with wearing it in the shower accidentally.

No probs. It hurt like hell as it was my second Goats ride of the evening.
Pacing ahead of Ryan at 320 watts was a lot easier than ahead of you at 360 but I had the Ryan ride in my legs already.

I have the wahoo hrm and think bill does too? Mine connects fine. Bkool has lost it in the past even when found by my phone or Zwift and I have had to take battery out and put it back in before Bkool recognised again.

Event is booked 121 miles I've gone for
Hotel is booked I'll be at the commodore looks very posh, ive gone with a twin room incase anyone needs a room.
Just the bike now I'll sort that out tomorrow with luck.

dont want to go on about dd but - booked at the Hampton Hotel what seemed cheap and i couldnt face sleeping in a field after what might be a long rainy day
- now is the time for people to snigger and nudge each other saying - hes the one staying there ! a bit like del boy and rodney when they got a b&b in margate

You finding any difference between your new turbo and the old Frankenturbo? You seem just as fast/strong.

At first I thought it was a whole world of difference but somehow the power had disconnected and I was left on high resistance setting.
A bit of messing about with my remotely operated sockets sorted that out.
It now feels pretty much the same, all be it quieter with new bearings, other than the FW issues/features you are all seeing, dead stops etc.
I was getting blue numbers yesterday at above 9% or so and 'Virtual Speed' was showing in blue above the digits.
Getting out of the saddle and doing some big, and unsustainable, watts did not seem to have the expected speed impact when the speed was blue.
I also saw some 'virtual speed' in the Velodrome as well.

After a summer mainly on the road and then a 3 week break in the U S of A, am finally back on the Bkool trainer - hopefully as a regular again . Fitness shot after the holiday so it's gonna be a tough few weeks to get it back. First ride on Monday night failed to load so not a great start but just done a shortish sweat session on the velodrome. Wish me luck

I'm sure it'll be fine Berty, cheapest pint in town which is a plus, and an eat as much as you can Chinese Buffet. Let's face it, it's just a bed your after, we're not in this for the clubbing are we?

Yes there is one due tomorrow Thursday @7pm uk time. It should be Alpe d'Huez.
