To be fair Jim, most days are madness on Bkool

I actually cycle with no music .... maybe I should try some music and see if it helps me forget the pain!

I don't know about forgeting pain, but it does tend to drown out the voice begging me to stop

kipster's solution is nice as I can manage to should abuse but certainly wouldn't be able to key into a screen ... plus water and electric shouldn't mix, and I'm dripping when I cycle so wouldn't want to get too close to the PC or phone

You need to have a water-proof phone :-) That's my solution.

Of course, it's not clear if my phone is resistant to *salt water*, which is what's pouring off me during most of these rides. It hasn't started to disintegrate yet, but it always could...

What with the wooden floor, gasping from me and droning from the turbo... it's all a reminder of unnecessary and excessive effort... best distracted by varied soundz n beatz..

I've used these to listen to music on the phone, work really well, even over glasses. They have an inbuilt mic but I've not used it.

I think so. I was around 2min behind early and slowly closed that to around 1:15 at about the halfway point. Never got closer than that and faded to a 7+ minute gap by the end of the ride.

I'd hoped to maintain ~230W throughout the ride, but it was out of reach. 210 is probably more realistic and in line with what I've done on other climbs through the summer.

Guys, there is a chat system built into BSim but it only works with folk within 50 m on the route so at the start we should all be linked.
I had it switched on last night and there was a fair bitvof backgroud fuzz.
If I remember rightly it is in the sttings option when you are in the session which is how I managed to switch it off after the warm_up had started.

I crashed out in the warm_up and had to re_start my PC
