The best ride I've ever did was from Toronto to Nova Scotia. Almost all paved bike trails. If you go for a visit you should take your bike.
I forget that the North Americans stole all the British place names. Unforunately for me, Halifax is in Yorkshire, just to the west of Leeds. Some great hills but I haven't taken my bike up there yet. She lives in a little town called Brighouse famous for a mining band along with Rastrick, anyone remember the Floral Dance by Terry Wogan, they were the band.

I built a golf course just outside Brighouse and I've also cycled a few hills round there too.. the nastiest of them all was the Shibden Wall.. nasty cobbled thing... that was a long time ago when I could cycle up hills .... it's so steep, the couldn't get tar to stick to it..

Nice part of the world..

Results (much delayed) from Tuesday's Handicap Chase...

Congratulations to Andy, Martyn and Bazzer for their much improved times, along with the battling duo Bob and Bridgy!

Adjusted Times (Moving Time + Start Time)

These are the Moving Times.

@bobinski did get the quickest moving time, as he was sat on the line for quite a while, so just pipped @bridgy, although I think Bridgy did slow pedal for a while at the start.

Hi Stuart. I just saw Geoff's response so looked for your ride under rides to be validated and there's no sign of it. If you know your time and you can put in a short (20 seconds is enough) league ride of the same and save it I can make the time up to match your actual time. Just let me know on here what the time should be and when you've done the dummy run.

Youre supposed to be laid up with a bad back Tommy! Oh I see why you had the day off Hehehehe

Ha!

By 'just' I mean I've managed one ride (last Sunday) before my back gave up on me. I think I'll hold back on the photos of the pain cave until after I've snagged a few of the finishing touches . Some of you guys are setting a pretty high standard!

I'm really hoping to get a ride in tomorrow. It's been a frustrating week but my back seems to be improving so now I just want to put it behind me.
