Ive not joined the leagues as my daughter goes to bed around 7ish (and can take over an hour to get to sleep) so it would not be easy to ride in the evenings. Can I ride the league rides separately and have the times counted?

Edit... and my bkool name is the same... daddy Pig :mrpig:
Yes - you can even challenge someone from the league and add some ghosts if you like so you have some company! There's also a re-run on Saturday at 5pm if that's any better for you

Ok I have no idea what went wrong at the start but this is what happened:
1/ I started the ride from the league tab.
2/ Thirty seconds or so after I began the warmup the countdown started. Someone had joined but not sure who.
3/ I left the ride.
4/ I started it again from the league tab
5/ When I joined the warmup was already going and it said "waiting for Rob to start the race". There were others already there on the start line.
6/ The countdown from 10 started early sometime during the last minute.

Not sure why this happened. Any ideas?

I believe that this is called a bsim 'upgrade'...

I was wishing I'd gone off a bit faster and stayed with you as the gap between us was fairly constant the whole way. I couldn't haul you in though and even at the end when it got close I still couldn't do it. I don't think I've ever spent so long trying to catch someone before which made it a very tough ride. You did what you needed to do though Tommy and unless I can pull something out of the bag on Saturday your league position is safe.

I thought exactly the same thing Bill. If you'd of gone with me at the start it would of been completely different. Probably more enjoyable for both of us too but you would of been a big favourite on the last climb for my mind. I was dead at the end mate. Well long before the end really. You brought it in to about 10 seconds at one point and I couldn't really respond to it. Then on that last downhill I know I had the weight advantage on you so it allowed me to stop peddling and muster up some energy for one last push.

Seems to be a lack of results in the league.

Anyone who knows their time and can put in a short dummy run, please do so and we'll get your time into the league.

@AAAC 76C - let me know if you manage to get your session uploaded... ive tried uninstalling the bsim and re-installing and it still won't find the session.

I went out and in and no sessions were pending however one ride has landed with a value of 16 seconds but that will be the one I joined that Bill started, gave me a bit of shock when I saw 16 seconds as I though 'begger all that effort and it's uploaded incorrectly' but the truth is the whole session has not yet landed. Bridgy is still ahead in GC on paper.

This was my plan.
I assumed you were recovering still from man-flu and all I needed for GC was 11 seconds.
Step 1. Let Bridgy lead off and get to his wheel
Step 2. Let Bridgy do the work, don't give him any draft as this is going to be a 2 horse race.
Step 3. Test Bridgy on the first climb and try and lead over the top and let him chase.
Step 4. Who was the guy with the yellow hat, he was putting me off of my stride and where did he go?
Step 5. Test Bridgy repeatedly on the climbs but let him come back on the descents however try not to give him a wheel.
Step 6. Save a bit for the second bit of the final climb and smash it as this was going to be a race to the top.
Step 7. Hope that I would have enough of a lead to avoid embarrassment on the final descent.
Step 8. Warm down, have shower and go get Fish and Chips to celebrate a good win and take tomorrow off.
Blimey I'm intimidated by how much you've thought this through!

I'd personally recommend joining at least the chain gang and mountain goat leagues. Don't feel at all obliged to complete all the stages if you don't have time. It's just a great motivator racing other people.
I always have fun chasing your ghost... I find I need to build a quick lead over you to try and keep ahead and pray for the downhills to come!

OK @bridgy, I might have to join in and give you a slipstream to help beat aaac, it sounds like he's trying to be far too tactical! At least I can go hard on the flats to tire aaac out but expect me to burn out half way around!

How do I sign up? And which would you recommend?
Apply to join the league in the website and one of the admins will accept it if your username is the same as they'll recognise you from here - if the username is different let them know here! Chaingang league is good fun (that's what we did tonight), as is the Handicap league, but that really does work best done live with everyone else - at 8pm on a Tuesday. If you like big hills, there's the mountain goats league too...

QUOTE="Noah Street, post: 4569415, member: 46141"]Yes, that's the one. My live time in the chain gang ride was quicker than what ended up in my saved activity.
This morning I did a re-run of changang 1 and set up AAAC, Monte and Whorty as ghosts.
The first pic below shows the time gaps after 3 of us has crossed the finish, I was11'53 behind AAAC (must try harder!) and 1"26 ahead of Monte[

The second shows my elapsed time when I saved the session, 54'06

The final pic shows that this is shown in my activity as 57'38 - i.e. 3'32 slower than what I believe is my actual time! I'm looking for marginal gains, not big losses!
If I take my elapsed time of 54'06, the time gaps do equate to the times recorded by AAAC and Monte. Also, the 54'06 was reflected at the bottom left of the screen when I crossed the line. Bkool say they are looking at it, I just wanted to know if anyone had seen anything similar.
Sorry I can't do the Chaingang tonight, hopefully next week....

Couple of theories.
1. Your PC clock is out of sync with the internet but it doesn't look like it from the screenshot.
2. Your BKool Pro is not paired properly and is therefore not acting like a BKool Pro. I have a cadence sensor which I can pair as if it was a trainer.
3. If you haven't already run the Bkool removal tool, clean your registry and reload BSim from the BKool website
4. You have two hearts and a time machine like me. Turn the time machine off when BKooling.
5. BSim and BKool SW is pants.
6. Get a pink T Shirt like mine, I can't believe how many years it's taken of me so I don't give a jot how bad BSim might be.
7. Join Zwift, I've a feeling a few more will be soon.
