I personally found running good for increasing vo2 max and building up the core and another way to lose calories, but if you talk to others they think the opposite, chalk and cheese to some people.I'm not sure running helps cycling but I'm not really qualified to give a conclusive opinion. I've had conversations with a guy who was making the transition from competitive cycling to triathalon and he felt it was more a compromise than compliment but that doesn't mean they're oil and water. Not trying to knock anyone getting involved in running. Thinking about it I had my fill of running when I was doing boxing in my teens so I'm also probably naturally biased.
Sorry to hear that TB, hope you are OK. Whiplash can take some time to appear so any aches in the next 48 hours you can associate it to the accident. It's a lot of hassle for you though... sounds like an insurance job to me.Great start to the year. Pop out to get some milk and a very sensible person () decides to pull out of a side road and park his car in my cars nearside
. No injuries, thankfully, but I now have to get a repair done
. Front wing after the wheel arch, both doors and at least the rear quarter before the wheel arch.
.
He's gonna stop, he's gonna stop, bang, nope he didn't stop
. Tried to avoid it, but he chased my across the road
.
I drove away in my v70. His Zafira not so much minus the front bumper and headlights![]()

Reported to insurance already. 2nd accident in 12 months neither of which was my fault
.
Not expecting any physical problems, just frustration at the time I'm going to be in a shopping cart whilst mine is off for repair.
Edit to add.
I'm gonna be looking for a HI-VIZ colour for the next car as they don't seem able to see my small volvo v70![]()

The last CG of 2016 ... @Jim Brown, @Goldwolfie and myself very close together in time (given we all competed 5 rides) - we all need to push on in 2017 and see if we can start to challenge the big power guysWhat's gone before counts for nothing?
Just popped onto Bkool dashboard thingy and I'm faced with...
