Breedon, Any idea what time you are riding? May join you if it fits in with cooking for my eldest. He is off to India and Sri Lanka for 4 weeks Sunday and I am under instructions to make him a hot curry every night to acclimatise his tummy^_^ of course, I have to eat some too;)

7-30 onwards so if not good for you don't worry I can have a go at one lap in the morning

My top tip for hot curries is to make sure you have naan bread at hand as this mops up the heat, with milk at hand... water just moves the heat around your mouth! If you want hot, build him up to dorset naga chillies, just don't do what I did and put them in a blitzer... that was rather too hot!

thats great, meet at 7.30 i cant challange DP so my plan is to do about 4 miles so 1 full lap then see how i transition into the next lap, i'll set it up see you then.
Excellent.
I will be taking it easy. Just back from GP who has referred me for X-ray/scan of my knee. He agreed much improved and turbo doing it good but not happy pain in knee joint persisting.

I use one of those for my fan for the same reasons - very handy. (Also very useful for things like Xmas lights when the plug's tucked away in an awkward place)
Bought some for my wife. She's disabled and can't reach low down sockets so these are perfect. Reduces the risk of her falling if I'm not around.

He does! Last injection for hepatitis this afternoon and now lying/suffering in his bed demanding this and that. So, to help him aclimatise I have just added 2 more chillies to his curry^_^ If my son complains I will blame DP ^_^

I've toured India .. many times and visited many regions. Whilst you can get a hot curry, they have to be asked for.. most are spicy .. the thing I struggled with on my trips to India wasn't the spices or the curry heat, more the fact that it was spicy breakfast, lunch and dinner... being near the sea offered different flavours and of course in Goa, Mumbai and Kerala you can get beans on toast.. which is nice every now and then..

Whilst I was touring Maharashtra I once stopped to watch a cycle race.... I kid you not.. the road was like an egg carton - so many holes....

Lovely country...
