How long does it take to join from entering the password... and will it cock everything up like before by testing the password and leaving?

In the past if you gave about 10 seconds to type in the password and join the race that was about right

Thanks Geoff! That means I have to catch up @AAAC 76C and @bridgy who are bound to team up! And @TurboTommy said he's not coming out to play tonight....

I have set up a race on rouvy to test it: I have added @JJRobinson and @Breedon , hopefully you will get notifications through rouvy. @bridgy i couldn't find your username so didn't add you but please join as the more the better. The race is under my name and the password is chase, as i know we are all bears of little brain. I have scheduled it for 18:30 Uk time on Thursday and it will be a gentle group ride, rather than a race to test out the functionality, drafting, view of other racers, etc etc and i though it could serve as a warm up for the main event hopefully stating on bkool at 19:00. If anybody else wants to join us that would be great too, the more I investigate the more it seems this might be the replacement platform for us.....give it a go, it's free for two weeks.

I've installed Rouvy just now and will give it a go and report back. @keithaitch - I've asked if I can be your friend (please ) if you can add me to the recon ride you are setting up.

Jim, the idea is to bimble along together as a nice friendly group, checking out the features,drafting it exists, info On the other riders in race relative to you etc etc and if we don't finish it doesn't matter, it's just a test. I have just done a little reccy and the platform is looking good to me, so far. I don't expect Thursday to be the definitive test but it should give us a good idea of what the platform provides

Peter I've accepted your friend request ,but I don't seem to be able to invite more people . I think you need to search for the race, chaingang rouvy test #1 and then register with the password ,chase. Can you let me know if this works

God dam Tuesday night handicap races are back again!!

Gutted not to be starting this week ... I can feel the buzz in the air. There’s no bigger motivator than knowing there’s someone behind you looking to plough straight through if you slow down!

I’m going to try and log in to watch at some point.

Little tip for the new guys. Have a practice at putting the password in and starting before your allocated start. Just so it doesn’t turn into a blind sweaty panic! ( I’ve been there...)

Maybe you guys should set up discord or another type of communication too. If you want to test out certain things like drafting etc it might make it easier.
