Well, that was a bit more TT than I had hoped. The pack of wolves catching up the last few kms just flew past. Well done All! I think my moving time was 34:23.

I used the bkool clock that i think shows the minutes and seconds after the first person starts, i started at 08:50, my handicap and though i took a second for my guy to move, if we all used that at least we'd be in the right order with the right time differences between us. It would just mean that everybody had to be on the line before the first guy starts and it doesn't matter if he starts at 20:00:24 or 19:59:50 in reality.

Looking at the recording of the starts, unsurprisingly the bkool clocks are all over the place. Some seem to show the elapsed time from the end of the warmup, some are longer so probably from when the rider joined the warmup, and AAAC's was -354 hours!

For example, on the recording it shows Bob starting with Whorty's elapsed time showing as 32 minutes and then Bob's a few seconds later at 57 minutes, the session being 6 1/2 minutes in after a 10 minute warm up.

It's just simple maths, you'd think computers would be good at that!

@gbrown if you get the moving time sorted out please don't positively adjust my handicap as a result of tonight's ride. I got a freezy glitch just as Bill and I had started to work together ,and when I got back in I rode the last 20 kms as 95% effort TT.

Buggers up the ave watts etc too ... i was struggling to understand why my ave watts were so low for ages, then it clicked that I sat on the line doing about 70 watts for 7 minutes d'oh :banghead: I recon I was averaging about 250-260 for moving watts so not bad at all. Onwards and upwards

I was spinning 34/25 in the warm up and stopped. Only then did I realise I would have to change up the gears immediately at the start:laugh: muppet...

What a pain, as it is a much better way of starting - but unless we can find a way of easily getting the moving time it's obviously not much use for setting handicaps for a re-run.

What does work is Strava, as there's a Strava segment set up which covers the whole stage but must start just after the line. Based on that my time was 28.48. Not everyone's on Strava though so still not completely helpful!

Strava to the rescue @Whorty - check your ride, there's a segment for the whole course (which obviously excludes non-moving time. You averaged 246 watts :okay:

i just checked my strava and I was 41.08 mate and watching the recording and I think I jumped the start and as I had no display I poodled on for a minute or so before I realised I wasn't moving on the bottom map so stopped and let bkool start me, so as long as I don't balls up the start again I will try and ride with you mate as was very lonely ride watching a still screen:sad:
