Definitely knobbly! If we were to arrange something near here (Mendips) I can probably arrange some mountain bike for hire for £20 or so which would probably be best. The hills have a way of breaking unsuitable or un-maintained bikes VERY quickly resulting in a long and lonely walk home...!

That would be a lot cheaper than fixing my old commuter hack

There is a rumour they're building a velo in Zwift ... wonder how that would work with 200+ people bombing around at the same time Or maybe only 'you' will get to ride at a tie, so it feels like a private session

Looks like we need to save something for the last 2kms!

What's the matter you have a couple of 8% sections to recover after the 11% and 12% bits ... That last 6Km descent isn't plain sailing either, starting with a 8.4% Uphill, and the finish hits 6.5% in the last 100m . To be honest it does remind me of doing Great Dun Fell where you were using the 8% sections to recover after the relentless 18-20% bits, before the next steep ramp

Rode NC4 today as I can't make tonight and also remembered I'm away this weekend, so the Saturday re-run is out too.

Rode hard and was wiped out at the end. Time was 1:30:46. I was pleased with that but I'm still way behind some of the leaderboard times from 2016. Some of them look insane!

I have a 4g dongle I will give that a try before. Wasn’t sure how 4g would work but if it works for you.

I recently tethered my 4g phone and BKOOL worked much better than normal. However my data limit of 1GB was used in about an hour. Vodafone then start charging for more at £6.50 per 250 MB. Shame, as this could have been a solution for me.
