ahh!
That makes sense but likewise I experience a lag in the reduction of resistance as well.
It is a bit annoying increasing your tempo and getting nowhere and then overshooting your mark as well.

Here are 2 videos from the "same" Chain Gang race on 28th and 30th of November. Notice how I loose about 2-4 seconds at the start when on the Pro. But when I hit the hills, the lower resistance from the Pro makes me crest them much faster.

I still think this drafting is worlds apart from the old. But now the overshooting problem is much less so that part is good. So glass half full!
I agree completely, I wish they would extended the little yellow box so it had effect from either 7 or 8 seconds rather than five, I think that would allow you to moderate your speed when you catch somebody, you're going faster than them after all, you have caught them, to then be able to sit in behind them. Not a huge change but I think it would help a lot.

Yes, if felt slower, or rather I felt it was more difficult to maintain a highspeed in the 1 to -0,5 gradients. More resistance than usual. Tried another route after and felt something similar. Maybe. Not sure yet. Anyway, same for all.
But. Should have done the BWC stage 9 Tuesday. Fearing this might be another speedkiller update.
Oh I do hope so, that 9 minute gap is going to be too hard for me to close otherwise given the stages left.

Yep reckon it's the descents in this one and maybe other tweaks in interim updates. Or maybe 'Very cloudy' was the key. ^_^

Bkool Indoor - Version 5.12
An immersive training experience with no limits. Discover the latest news from the most realistic cycling simulator:
• New Bkool Drafting: we have improved the simulation of drafting to make it more realistic and enhance your experience.
• Realistic Descents and Tempo changes: descend realistically (accurate timing and acceleration), and more reactive speed changes.
• Reference to Time and Distance: see where you are in relation to other participants in both time and distance.
• New map views: choose from street siew, satellite or terrain.
• Improved avatar with new animations, textures and lighting.
• New Update System: more clear and easy to use.

I must try out the 'Street siew' . ^_^
Anyone discovered how to activate the new street view? (street, satellite or terrain)?

I have redone yesterday's stage on the new release to test out ghosts that have done the route on this release and to try to send an EOS to @Mark68
I can confirm that the ghosts are complete bollocks. They still don't induce the drafting effect, though bkool bots do. I beat Mark by 30 seconds but was over a minute slower than his actual time. My ghost from yesterday was lagging well down the field until the last two kilometers when it suddenly turned into Mark Cavendish and ended up beating mark's ghost by 7seconds. Go figure.
All in all I think the ghosts currently only serve as a random incentive to try to keep with our stay ahead of and we shouldn't put any store by our times against them. Hopefully they'll get it sorted out but nobody should hold their breathe!

Ok, I know only the geeks, (@microkid and me) find this fun but we've introduced a more accurate prediction algorithm for rides that have yet to be done on the team sheet. I'd had a couple of Belgian beers and a couple of glasses of a nice cheap Spanish red after three hard sessions today so any inaccuracies are down to to that. Upshot is..... Only 16 seconds between the teams, with the big boys winning, obviously, he who writes the algorithm rules the world!
Also I'm having a sh*t month, everybody, bar none is better, relative to me this month than historically. Hopefully stages 4 and 5 of this month's league will restore normality or you're all in for an awful lot of climbs next month! You have been warned!
