We can change the date to whatever works. Just not the 25th.
I have it set for the 26th but that may not work because Google says its boxing day. I'm not really sure what that entails. Would it interfere with a race?

Edit: Or just a Saturday race on the 27th? From what Google says, you give a Christmas box to your grocery store check out people on boxing day.

My mistake with the date. Boxing Day is fine with me, but others may still be too full of pudding! 27th also works for me.

Ill try to set up a handicap race for the end of December.
I think I can just start at the beginning and have the starting time for everyone else added by their difference.
So for example I start at 6:00 then at 6: 14@Goldwolfie starts then at 7:15 the following day @Rodmcg starts

Click on December handicap page below.

I’ll be away over Christmas Randy. I think we go on the 23rd. Let me know when Berty’s starting time is at least 15 minutes after mine and I might venture back into the country!

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, but I could do with some help with my Rouvy setup. I'm Windows 10 on an old Dell tower PC with good graphics capability but with no built-in Bluetooth. I have a Tacx Neo and Garmin HRM and Cadence sensors. I've always used exclusively Ant+ as connectivity is rock solid (seven years indoor riding now originally with Rouvy). I rode BKOOL until the last possible moment (locked in a UK all-comers indoor ascent challenge for third place). On downloading and installing Rouvy I am unable to ride as the pairing screen comes up with the red banner message that Bluetooth must be enabled, even though when pedalling I have power and cadence - no HRM for this test as I was in a pullover, but it was working fine last night. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so would a otherwise pointless Bluetooth USB dongle fix it?

In my experience, the warning messages sometimes mean nothing and may need to be ignored. Rebooting sometimes helps. The system works fine on ANT+, with the exception of Virtual Shifting. If you continue to have problems, it would be worth contacting Rouvy support.

When confronted with a problem its always best to seek the advice if someone who is obviously an expert in that area.
I'm here for you.
Number 1:, Empty calories are your friend. When food is ultra processed it removes all of the unneeded nutrients and leaves pure calories of joy.
Number 2: Work through the fullness. Unbutton your pants and get another helping.
Number 3: Proportions matter. Use big plates and fill them up. Always strive to be in the clean plate club.

I spent most of that cold 20 minutes trying to beat the system via clicks and reboots, but it wasn't having it. What did work just now, was adding a USB Bluetooth dongle that my son happened to have lying around. I think it's a bug in that nothing is actually connected via it, so I'll update my Rouvy support log with that observation, which is unlikely to do anything other than make me feel a little less worse about it!

Shoot Brother! Sounds rough. At least you’ve shot up in weight to over 9st.
Get better soon mate.
Doing the race tonight might help lessen the gap between you and us though…just saying.

So close you all disappeared at the same time. I had to watch @Brusgaard video to see who won.
I'm asking @Goldwolfie to be tested.

@Randyberlin - Looks like I've already failed, and as a punishment, for the handicap race you've put me starting 4 minutes after one of our members, who beat me by 4 minutes last time we did that course.

Thanks for putting so much effort into organising this groups events, and will be interesting to see how the handicap race plans out on Rouvy. Unfortunately I'm not around over Xmas so will have to wait until the next one.

It's all down to the 20Kg I have lost over the last 12 months, and I think that will show on a downhill course, when my weight used to give me quite an advantage - mind I'm still pretty hefty at 90Kg,
