Nothing special as it started out under grey skies and quite chilly, only clearing up a bit as I neared my destination, However I had that exceptionally rare event of a tail wind for almost the whole of the way from Stowmarket up to Norwich

Just because you post it another thread dosnt mean I don't notice you did 45 and a bit miles without rounding it up to 50 ☹️

Target ascent: 600m

Ride 3, Mar 18th: Holborn, East Dulwich, Sydenham Hill (3 different ascents), Shirley, New Addington, Tatsfield, Woldingham station. 46kms, 636m ascent

As a newbie to the challenge just to let you know my eyes are everywhere and I spot all rides failing just short of the magical 50km . Please for the sake of my OCD please round up to the appropriate distance 😁

I'm as annoyed as you, believe me
I did consider a quick run up the road and back but I had a train to catch

One of my favourite routes today a simple out & back from home to Midford via Bitton, Bath & The Two Tunnels.
Approx. 99% on cycle paths, there's just a small road section in Bath.

It's perfectly measured for this challenge too, being exactly 50 kms !

The ride can be split into four parts :

- busy Bristol to Bitton
- leisurely Bitton to Bath
- chaotic Bath Linear Park, with so many dog walkers on elongated leads or no leads
- delightful Two Tunnels section.
