I think you will find it better to look well after midnight, Saturn only rises above the horizon at about 1am and Mars is more like 3am I think.

Aye, Saturn up about 0050, Mars about 0210, both on the Eastern horizon which is perfect for me here.

I use SkyView Lite it’s very helpful to am amateur like myself.

Yes, the Delta Aquariids. Not sure I can face being up that late tonight though - that's the beauty of solar astronomy!
