The ..."are there any Aliens"... thread

Back in the 80s, there was an office next to Holborn Police Station that bore the sign "Alien Registration Office".

It may no longer be there, but it was there for long enough.

I registered there when I first arrived among your kind.

We came in peace and with good will to all your kind.

We will leave soon.

The proliferation of payday loan companies, online betting and non-dairy milk substitutes reminds us too much of our own planet.

But we thank you for your hospitality nevertheless.

On our planet, there are no triple chainrings. We are an advanced civilisation.

Bye...

Clear proof that intelligent life isn't out there & that they're already here

How do you know for certain that they were the first?

Yebbut, they're only aliens if they're here with us, otherwise on their own planets we'd be the aliens.
So long as they're not illegal.

Well would you go & report one. To do this normally requires going to the police station.

I have reported one over the phone with the two local airports. One had an unknown on radar the other only took the report. Reported because it was on the local final approach path.

Three questions then:
Why "Operation Bluebook" & why were Lockheed involved in the recovery at Roswell?
Why were the police(UK) given the power/authority to stop/prevent any alien invasion, IF there were none to prevent coming here?
My question is much simpler and conclusive.

Why keep it a secret?
Can't be much of a secret. I know about "Project Bluebook". Its tie ins with the "Skunkworks" & their work on Project "Aurora".

If I were an alien, I would be pretty annoyed that humans had been denying my existence, particularly if I was monitoring them. I would want to prove my existence once and for all.

Same could be said for if I were God I guess...

I think I'd want to wait until humans had developed the sophistication to find me, as an indicator of their scientific & emotional maturity to handle the contact.

If these aliens had got to that level of surviving & travelling even relatively small stellar distances and hiding their presence once nearby then we're probably at a level of being moderately clever lab rats to them.
Look, if they discover a new species of stick insect with the left legs slightly shorter than the right it's all over the papers by morning.

Any sniff of a UFO would be given equal treatment. There's nothing in any of it.
Unless... they control the media.

... and the Police.... and the various high offices of government... and the UN.... and NATO.

If you knew, you wouldn't be so glib about it all.

I can't write any more now. My cat is looking at me strangely as I type and I think he might be in touch with the mothership.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
God almighty help keep me safe from you lot. I am beginning to wish I was an alien, at least that way I could get off this bloody rock with all these nutters.
