Until about 2 months ago, this garage had (as far as I know) been in the hands of the same family, certainly since we've lived here (20+ years)
So far, I can't find out if the new owners are flattening the premises/emptying the back yard, for housing, or simply refurbishing?
To the right of the building was a 'tyre services' (new/part-worns/repairs)
They'd only charge £10, even if your tyre looked like it had lost a fight with a metal porcupine, as long as it was a legal repair (noy on/near the 'shoulder')
