Daughter’s boyfriend is selling (or sold?) his Mustang (V8/manual), & has bought this

It seemed odd seeing it, as they left
Whilst the LED headlghts were good, having the 'halo' side-lights gave it an odd appearance, compared to the separate side-lights as standard
The upper position is now the indicators (was side-lights), the lower a fog-light, with 4(!) 'DRL's in the bumper
'NAS' sized (LED) rear-lights

The roof-rack has been removed, to allow paint-work to be sorted out, where it was bolted on
The alloys are 'Kahn Design', with 255/55 x 18 (?) BFG tyres

We need a vomit emoji.

@Drago

Would prefer a FX4 pick-up?
(Range Rover underpinnings)

Those look like 9.00x16 Petlas, they were (still are?) a popular tread alternative for 101FCs
(probably a lot cheaper than anything by Michelin)

Only in America??
I guess it'd be okay mechanically, but far too flash, in some parts of Australia too

The new 'Scout' is very reminscent of the Bronco, that Ford reintroduced a few years ago, but that has internal combustion engines
They were originally built by International (as in 'Harvester') & were considered probably the toughest of the pick-ups of their eras

The Bronco had removable roofs/doors (even the 4-door), bungs to drain, it, after washing the interior out, waterproof (to some level) instrument panel, etc...

After towing their new (to them) 'van home in the middle of last month, upon arrival back in Wakefield, one of the rear mudflaps had vanished, & the other was hanging on by about 3" of rubber!!
I've heard of it before, due to turbulant air between the front of the van & the vertical rear of the LR, in this case compounded by the position/thinness of the flaps

They're not standard 110 'flaps - which are a lot thicker, that are mounted directly behind the wheels, as can be seen in the 'first line' link, these are cross-member mounted, to accomodate the non-standard exhaust (Kahn?)
Sam had got a pair cut, & fitted them, using the remaining one as a template, when I saw it at Squires a few days ago
He told me the cost, & it's not even thick rubber... over £50
So. with next time in mind, I've send him this link, then he can cut them to shape, at a vast saving
(there's a branch near jct 27/M62)
