I'm in a bit of a quandary regarding how "fast food" should be defined. My initial thinking was that it must be:
a) Available as a takeaway
b) Not cooked to order
But fish and chips is causing me a real issue. It feels like fast food, the chips meet the above criteria but the fish really should be fried to order and therefore it can't qualify
You see on the above criteria Nandos is out as it has a takeaway service but they cook your order. Conversely most MaccyDs seem to be cooking away regardless of what you specifically order so they're in....but fish and chips is throwing me out of kilter. I need to give this some thought
