SkySports has listed it as something they are showing, but no details on time or channels yet.

Should we start a general "Cycling on the Television" thread and sticky it? That would seem to me to be a sensible way of keeping everyone informed of what is on and when.

The Tour Down Under is being broadcast on Sky Sports 2 and Sky Sports 3

Coverage is limited to a daily 30 minute highlights show, as shown nightly in Australia.

Coverage details for first show:

SPORT: Tour Down Under Cycling
On: Sky Sports 2 (402)
Date: Sunday 18th January 2009 (starting in 4 days)
Time: 19:30 to 20:00 (30 minutes long)

The world's best cycling teams head to Adelaide for the six-stage Tour Down Under. The top-class event showcases the speed, skill and spectacle of professional cycling.
(Dolby Stereo)

As with most sport on Sky, there are at least 2 repeats a day, Coverage is scheduled right up until 26 January, so there should be no problem catching the last stage!
