@Webbo2 We need to the rest of your outfit in order to match the tie.

I wore the polka dot one with a white cufflinked shirt, my Cordings chocolate brown, 16 ounce tweed suit, minus the waistcoat and light 'orangy' tan Oxford shoes, burnt orange ribbed socks and my tan Borselino fedora hat.🧐

Are you ever mistaken for Michael Portillo?

Bystanders have learned that Portillo is found on railway premises clutching a guidebook, and the visually identical Accy is behind the wheel of a Fiat 500 wielding a rolled up copy of Horse and Hound at oncoming motorists.

Indeed, Portillo is never seen off railway premises and John Major had to have the House of Commons designated as British Rail property before Portillo could attend.

Accy, on the other hand, prefers not to go to any building that permits entry to common folk.

So Accy only attends the house of Lords, Cordings of Piccadilly , some rather shady nightclubs around Soho and the odd gentleman's club,
Of which he may have to go to Clitheroe, on account they have a grand order of Buffalo there .
( I don't know about the last bit, I made that up !)

We were a few rows away from Portillo on a train up through mid Wales. No TV crew or entourage he was just on a trip. I did wonder if he was recce-ing for a future broadcast or simply travelling. Anyhow it did prove the man actually uses trains rather than being limo'd to the filming location.

Nothing against the man for travelling by rail, if he is an ardent rail traveler, but he is a little questionable what with him being the Robe a kid, and his politics, although I gather he has moved away from his previous position, but still a Tory.

I paid £35 yesterday for this Loro Piano black blazer from the retro clothing shop I work in.

Hes a small c conservative these says, not a "Tory". Being the former does not automatically make one the latter, although an ignoramus media seem to use the terms more or less interchangeably these days.

Not intended to be political, merely mentioned for the sake of accuracy.

I'd see a small c conservative as being someone with a conservative outlook but not per se a supporter of or a member of the conservative party. I'd imagine Portillo is still a big C conservative.
